Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Zodiac is a vibrant and spirited 2-year-old pup who was found nursing a litter of 9 puppies of her own. While all of her puppies have moved on to their very own families up north, Zodiac is still searching for an active and adventurous family of her own. With a zest for life and a tail that never stops wagging, she is the perfect companion! Despite her active nature, Zodiac is also a true sweetheart. She adores cuddles and is always looking to impress her people. She is the perfect size at 50lbs, just right to fit on your lap! Zodiac has experienced a foster home wherein she did well overall but was just too loving for their 10 month old; as such, we recommend a home with children 6 and up. She ADORES children, but can be overwhelming with the kiss-giving(and is obsessed with diapers!) Sweet Zodiac has proven to do well with other dogs, but does prefer to be the dominant dog in a pack(gently so, but still boss dog) Zodiac has been fortunate enough to have a donated DNA panel ran, and her results are via the link below; you truly can't beat this all-American girl for her intelligence and versatility! https://www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/g13phdk If you're looking for your next companion, Zodiac's loyalty and affection may just melt your heart. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $175 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Handsome, squishy-faced Hector wasn't always a street dog but sadly he and his presumed sisters found themselves homeless and in need of a warm, safe place to call home. At under 2 years of age, sweet Hector shows great promise when it comes to other dogs. Gently nervous around cats, he just might do well sharing a home with them! Sweet Hector is doing an amazing job in his foster home with two canine companions and a human baby, we are elated to report! Gentle on a leash but with no basic obedience, this cuddly blank slate would do great with a relaxed family who will help him learn the world is a wonderful place. Wanna teach him? Let us know!! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
Titan is approximately 5-months-old.  This little guy was rescued from a shelter by a sweet young lady.  There had apparently been some major trauma to his left front leg and the shelter doctors had to amputate his leg.  That was only a month ago so he was a mere baby at 3-months-old then.  The young lady met his current foster mom at the vet's office where they chatted about training.  Shortly after that, she was not able to keep him due to some unexpected changes in her life.  So now we have this adorable tripod puppy! Titan is going to be a big boy.  We are thinking he may have some Rottweiler in him based on those gorgeous eyebrows and his shorter, wider nose. Talk about a trooper though. This little guy has learned how to use the doggy door and how hop up on to his foster mom's lap for snuggle time.  He is house-trained and crate-trained.  He is learning some basic commands as well.  As far as playtime, you would never know he is missing his leg.  He "runs" and plays very roughly with the big dogs in his foster home.  This sweet puppy has stolen the hearts of everyone he meets.  He is such a snuggle baby and loves to nestle his head up next to your neck and then gives the sweetest kisses. Obviously, he loves to hang out with his foster brother all of the time.  Where Zuko is, rest assured, Titan will be right there with him.   All Lani’s Lucky Shepherds receive an individual examination by a local veterinarian, are current on vaccinations, spay or neutered, microchipped, and tested for heart worms and other intestinal worms and parasites. All incoming dogs receive Drontal Plus de-wormer or its equivalent as an extra precautionary step to go above and beyond to keep our rescued dogs healthy. We feed our rescue dogs high quality dog food and supplements while they live in our foster homes. All these costs are paid for by our rescue. You won’t have to pay for these normal costs or bother with the headaches of having to take your new dog to a vet for all these procedures. We strongly suggest that you complete the adoption application process before choosing a dog from our web page. Most of the dogs on this web page will have approved adopters already looking at them. We get new dogs on a regular basis. The application process can take a couple of weeks depending on your schedule. You will have access to all of our available dogs once you are approved to adopt a rescue dog. Please visit www.luckyshepherds.com for more information. Please note that we only serve the Greater Houston area. We do not adopt our dogs to homes outside of the Houston and its neighboring areas. ##1959565##

Story
Inky is approximately 2-years-old and a sweetheart.  We were called by the shelter and asked if we could take this sweet girl.  She had been in the shelter for 6 months and was so scared.  She was afraid and showed no signs of getting better and relaxing.  We could only imagine how she felt so we said YES.  Now...Inky is a lively and loving girl.  She is happy, content and very social.  She befriended Uno who had been hit by a car and helped him to fit right in.  We almost called her Yoda with her beautiful offset ears.  I mean how can you not love those ears?  She loves to play and give lots of love and affection.  She is housetrained and crate trained.  She loves to play and run.  She especially loves to climb ontop of some of our play equipment and look around like she has conquered the world.  Well she has certainly stolen our hearts. All Lani’s Lucky Shepherds receive an individual examination by a local veterinarian, are current on vaccinations, spay or neutered, microchipped, and tested for heart worms and other intestinal worms and parasites. Story
Ceasar is approximately 9 - 10-months-old.  He and his siblings Amy and Beth were saved by a kind family last year.  She had been trying to find homes for them but was unsuccessful in her efforts.  She really felt that they needed to be with someone who could find good homes for them they our rescue does.  As much as she and her family really loved them, they knew it was unrealistic to keep three more dogs especially since they had no place but outside for them now that they were getting bigger. I'm Ceasar!  I'm a little bashful at first because I've recently learned how to be an inside dog....and I LOVE it!!!  My foster sissy and brother have taught me how to use this magic door that I hear my hoomans call a doggie door.  It's very cool because I get to come in and out anytime I want!  Now this crate thing is a new concept but I am getting used to it. I go in there when my foster parents have to be gone for an errand.  Ah...but at bedtime, I sleep whevere I want to!  They treat me pretty special here and I am a good boy because this is the life.  I do like it when we get visitors but I just need a few minutes to check them out.  Seriously, I am I German Shepherd and that's what we do! All Lani’s Lucky Shepherds receive an individual examination by a local veterinarian, are current on vaccinations, spay or neutered, microchipped, and tested for heart worms and other intestinal worms and parasites. Beth is the biggest of the three.  She is a little cautious of new folks at first.  Give her a few and she warms right up.  She is absolutely the kindest and sweetest soul.  She has the most beautil smile and gentle face.  She loves hanging with her new foster siblings and they are teaching her the "house rules" which she is following quite nicely.  She also lives with a cat now and does not even bother her.  She is housetrained and kennel trained.  She is not as vocal as her sister Amy but will tell you she would rather not be in there.  However, for her safety, sometimes a girl has to have some quiet time when her foster mom has to run errands.  She is settling in very nicely in her foster home and takes her "job" as a German Shepherd seriously.  There were some utility workers out on the property and she like her foster siblings let them know they were being watched.   All Lani’s Lucky Shepherds receive an individual examination by a local veterinarian, are current on vaccinations, spay or neutered, microchipped, and tested for heart worms and other intestinal worms and parasites.
