Story
Meet Roxanne! She’s a 9-month-old Dutch Shepherd mix and an absolute beauty. She has a striking brindle coat that glows in the sun, big expressive amber eyes, and a sweet little white chest patch that makes her look even more unique - but what really makes her special is her gentle, loving nature. Roxanne is loyal, affectionate, and loves nothing more than being close to her people. She’s a little shadow who happily follows you around and settles in for snuggles any chance she gets. She does great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her an easy fit in almost any home. This sweet girl is crate trained and picking up on house training quickly. She’s spayed, UTD on vaccinations, and ready to find the loving forever family she deserves. 💛 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Introducing Chase! 🐾✨ This handsome 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd mix is the total package — fun, loyal, and full of heart. Chase is the kind of dog who’s up for anything: he loves a good game of fetch, enjoys hiking and running, and would make an incredible adventure buddy. But don’t let his playful side fool you… once the fun is over, he settles right in and is perfectly content to relax and hang out with his people. Chase is extremely sweet, he absolutely adores kids, and does great with submissive dogs. As his natural instincts may lead him to chase, he’s best suited for a home without cats. He has wonderful manners, is housebroken, and is such an easy dog to have around. Chase is neutered, fully vaccinated, and so ready to find his forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will join you on adventures and melt into you for snuggles afterward, Chase is your guy. ❤️🐕 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. JAKE WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT DOG TO TRAIN FOR SEARCH AND RESCUE OR SOME TYPE OF POLICE BOMB/DRUG SNIFFING DOG. JAKE IS ALSO VERY ATHLETIC AND LOVES AGILITY TRAINING TOO. Meet Jake! Jake is about 1 year old and 36 lbs. We think Jake looks like a Shepherd/Mix (Just a Guess). Jake is a very happy boy who just wants to please. He is food motivated so his foster mom is working with him on commands. Jake loves other dogs but can be a bit pushy when he plays. Jake has met young children and they seem to make him nervous so we feel he would do best with children 11 years and up if children are in his forever home. Jake is a very smart boy and would love an adopter who will continue training with him. Jake is house and crate trained. Jake is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. The Adoption Fee is $375.00 ***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue*** ***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.*** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. Story
Meet Sara — Your New Best Friend in a Perfectly Trained, 45-Pound Package of Love At just 20 months old, Miss Sara is already proving to be the kind of once-in-a-lifetime dog everyone hopes for—smart, affectionate, eager to please, and now… beautifully trained. Originally adopted as a puppy, Sara was very loved—but when her owner sadly fell ill and could no longer care for her, everything changed. She returned to us with a heart full of love, but without the manners every young pup needs. We knew this girl had potential, so off she went to a professional 3-week training program… and wow, is she showing off. &#226&#156&#133 Training? She’s nailing it. &#226&#156&#133 People? She adores them. &#226&#156&#133 Dogs? Instant besties. &#226&#156&#133 Kids? She belly-crawls just to be close to them—it’s beyond precious. We believe she’s a Dutch Shepherd mix, weighing in at about 45 pounds, with a gorgeous, sleek coat and a heart that beats for human connection. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—and yes, ready to go! Now, she’s just looking for a home that can match her devotion with love and guidance. Toys are her jam, and she’ll happily entertain herself or join you for a game of fetch. No kitties for this girl, please! Chasing them is just too much fun, and she needs a cat-free home to thrive. Sara is the kind of dog who makes you feel like the most important person in the world. Her loyalty is unmatched, her spirit is bright, and her readiness for her forever home couldn’t be clearer. Interested in giving this beautiful girl her happily-ever-after? Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com today. Let Sara show you what love, intelligence, and a second chance can really look like. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 11, 2025, 9:36 pm

Story
Annie is a gorgeous 3-year-old female Dutch Shepherd mix. She is a very happy, sensitive, smart, and energetic dog. Annie is house trained. She knows the commands sir, lay down and stay. She walks fairly well on leash, she may pull a bit if there is a squirrel to investigate. She usually enjoys a good run at the dog park then she sleeps for the rest of the day. She is dog-selective but can be great with other dogs who are more submissive. Annie does have a high prey drive, so she shouldn't be with cars or small dogs. Annie is a very sweet dog who loves to cuddle and loves belly rubs. She does not bark unless she hears something suspicious outside. Annie does need a good fenced in yard or she will try to get out and find neighborhood buddies to play with. Annie would make a really wonderful companion and hiking dog. She weighs 75 pounds and is full grown. She is microchipped. Meet and greets are by appointment only with approved applicants. Adoption fee is waved but the application process is not. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. This pup, like all pups should be on heartworm preventative, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: https://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoption-request-form/ and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd

Lucas's adoption fee is waived for the month of August! Looking for a best friend who also doubles as your wing man? Meet Lucas. He’s handsome (obviously), loyal (like, ride-or-die loyal), and has the kind of charm that makes strangers stop mid-walk just to say hi. Basically, he’s the furry version of that friend who always knows what to say to break the ice—except his pickup line is “Hi, I’m adorable.” 🐾 Lucas is about a year old, 65 lbs of pure love, and fully recovered from his rough start in life. Now he’s ready for everything: hiking trails, swimming spots, morning runs, and car rides to wherever the fun is. He’ll happily join you for big adventures or just help you look cooler than you actually are at the coffee shop patio. Adopt Lucas—your new best friend, adventure buddy, and four-legged wing man. Interested in learning more about Lucas? Apply at www.novapetsalive.org/adopt *Lucas is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, was treated for heart worm, was given dewormer and monthly preventatives, and is microchipped.
