Brady is ready to find his forever home again! Just over a year old, Brady was originally adopted from us about a year ago but sadly returned after his owner experienced some health issues. This sweet boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but a few gentle pets are all it takes to help him warm up and show off his playful, loving personality! Brady LOVES his people and wants to be included in whatever you’re doing. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving around the house, he’d much rather be right there with you! He seems to have some separation anxiety, so he’d love a home where someone is around often to keep him company. Brady is also considered a special needs adoption due to a condition called tendon contracture, which affects the positioning of his front legs and feet. His front legs have a straighter-than-usual appearance.Thankfully, this condition doesn’t appear to affect his quality of life at this time! This condition should resolve on its own, but there is a chance that he may need reassessment and possible surgery in the future. Meet Susye — A Young Girl Ready for a Home of Her Own Sometimes the best dogs have the hardest beginnings. Susye’s second chance began when a Nashville Fire Department EMT realized that the homeless woman caring for her would not be leaving the hospital. He could not bear the thought of this young dog being left with nowhere to go, so he brought Susye home and made sure she was safe. For the past three months, Susye has been living with her firefighter foster dad and his four dogs. She has been a happy, peaceful addition to the family and has settled into home life beautifully. She is crate trained when needed, loves using the dog door, and enjoys spending time in the fenced backyard. Now fully vetted and spayed, Susye is turning 8 months old this month and is ready for a forever home with the stability she deserves. She weighs 43 pounds. We believe Susye may be a Feist, Rat Terrier, or Jack Russell Terrier mix, possibly with some herding breed influence. She is bright, active, affectionate, and eager to be part of whatever is happening. Like many young herding and terrier mixes, she will do best with regular exercise, engagement, and continued training. Although Susye adores her foster dog siblings, they are all older. Her foster dad cannot help but think she would especially love a home with a younger, playful dog companion who can match her energy and enjoy growing up alongside her. Her firefighter foster dad also works 12-hour shifts, and caring for five dogs has become more than he can reasonably maintain long-term. Susye is loved and safe, but this was always meant to be her stepping stone—not her final destination. She would thrive with a family that can give her companionship, consistency, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to use her smart young mind. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful, and another playful dog would be a big bonus. Susye has already experienced more uncertainty than any puppy should. Matthew is an adorably marked Butterscotch and White  neutered Lab/Mountain Feist mix, DOB Feb. 3, 2026. Just look at the white on the tip of his tail. He is a joy, very humble and laid back. Matthew absolutely loves hugs and attention.  He plays well with his litter mates and is growing up in a loving foster home with excellent care, nutrition and litter mates, just as a puppy should. Matthew is treat motivated, so he is an easy guy to train. He would make any home happy.  Adoption fee $50. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, DHPP, Rabies, Flea, tick, heart worm check, worm treatment, and microchip. Meet Chance – So Full of Hope Abandoned, suffering, and covered in horrible mange... all Chance hoped for was someone to care. Imagine being just a year old, all alone in the world, with no warm bed, no gentle touch, and no one to comfort you when your little body is hurting. Chance didn't understand why he had been abandoned. He only knew he was suffering and needed someone to give him a chance. Thankfully, someone finally did. When Chance was found, he was suffering from horrible mange, and his poor skin needed serious care. It's heartbreaking to think about what this tiny boy endured all alone. But his story didn't end in sadness. He was rescued, received the care he desperately needed, and began his journey toward a happier life. This precious 12-pound boy is steadily healing, and although his skin will continue to recover, his sweet spirit is already shining. Despite everything he's endured, Chance has blossomed into the most wonderful little love bug! We're guessing he's a Chiweenie and Jack Russell Terrier mix, but whatever his mix, he's 12 pounds of pure sweetness! He loves other dogs, cats, and kids, and he's ready to fill a home with happiness. Now, Chance needs one more miracle: a forever family. He deserves to know what it's like to be someone's beloved little companion. To curl up in a cozy bed, receive endless belly rubs, and wake up every morning knowing he's safe and loved. He has already survived so much. Now it's his turn to be cherished. Please don't let Chance's difficult past—or his still-healing skin—keep you from seeing the beautiful soul he is.
