Story
Our handsome Fabio is that exceptional, all around family dog, that is rare in rescue. He loves everybody and has not flinched at all during a rescue process that leaves lesser dogs rattled.  We've been trying to piece together Fabio’s backstory, but there's not much to go on. He was found as a country stray, by Animal Control Officers in Charlotte County, North Carolina. Vets say that he is a two year old adult dog.  When no worried owner came forward to collect Fabio, he was transferred to our Connecticut Rescue so that we could script the next chapter of his life.  Throughout the chaotic rescue process, Fabio has been an absolute charmer. He is so full of life, love and personality. He is a gentle, sweet boy who loves everyone. Fabio still has a bit of the puppy Mojo going on, but he is easily exercised with a few daily leash walks. He is a super dog that would do well in any type of environment. Fabio needs a fair amount of exercise and focused playtime so that he does not become bored and get into mischief. He would benefit greatly from ongoing obedience training, which is helpful in providing additional mental stimulation. He is learning his commands, although he can become distracted easily, but he is treat motivated. He responds well to Positive Reinforcement and Leadership techniques, and seems to enjoy his training sessions. He seems to be a confident boy, ready and willing to work. Fabio has good house manners, and is house trained and crate trained. Adopters should expect to troubleshoot the occasional accident that will inevitably occur during his transition to a new home. He has been neutered, and has received routine vaccinations and health screenings. If you are interested in Fabio, please write to Angelsfrgod@aol.com or call or text Denise at 860-908- 9738 for more info.

Story
Meet Hattie! Hattie is an adorable hound/terrier mix with a heart as big as her playful spirit! Born around the first week of November, this fun and spunky girl never meets a stranger—everyone she encounters is instantly a friend. With her outgoing and social nature, Hattie would thrive in a family that loves to take her out and show off her amazing personality. She absolutely adores playing with the other dogs in her foster home and would do great with a doggy playmate. Hattie is also incredibly smart—she’s already mastered the doggie door and learned to sit for treats! She’s making great progress with house training and is eager to keep learning. While she loves to be with people and is an excellent cuddler, she also has an independent side, happily entertaining herself when needed. With Hattie, you truly get the best of both worlds! If you’re looking for a loving, adventurous, and intelligent pup to join your family, Hattie is the perfect match. Could Hattie be your new best friend? Apply for her today! Story
Meet Miss Kitty, the perfect pint-sized hound mix at just 35 lbs! This sweet 2-year-old girl is the best of both worlds—playful and social with the dogs in her foster home, yet calm and cuddly when it’s time to relax. She’s fully house-trained and trustworthy when left alone, making her an easy addition to any family. Kitty is a gentle soul who does great with children and loves to be close, often curling up in a little ball beside her foster mom. She’s also the ultimate adventure buddy—she rides like a dream in the car and is always ready to be your copilot. Smart and eager to please, she takes treats with the softest touch and enjoys learning new things. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered companion who will join you for adventures and snuggle up afterward, Miss Kitty is your girl! Story
Our Sadie, is actually my daughter’s dog, who she promised she would take care of, and she hasn’t, and she’s leaving earlier for college than we initially thought, starting in a few weeks. We need to rehome her as soon as possible and thought we’d check with the dog people we know in our search for her new home. We aren’t from here and don’t know a lot of people here locally. She is probably 40-ish pounds, is AMAZING with kids of all ages (we have 5 kids ages 3-19 and she is great with all of them). She has a very gentle temperament, has been kept inside to sleep but really loves being outside during the day. If you know anyone interested, please let me know! We are desperate to find a good home for her!!

Story
Hello, my name is Terra. I am a precious girl, sweet as a sugar, but as playful as can be. I am always happy to see you. I am loving life. My new family has to like a girl with a lot of energy. My new family I would like to hike, go to the beach, go camping, and love to play in the backyard. But more importantly, treat me like family and not something to throw into the backyard and forget. My original family kept me tied up with little water and even a smaller amount of shade. The lady who rescued me along with my friends Jasper and Osa knew I did not have any chance of surviving. So, like she has with so many human parents, go up and demand I am released. Not just because it was right, but because she knew it would be saving my life.Happily, 2 years ago I was surrendered to my rescuerer's rescue. Today everything is forgotten. But for sure, I want my own family. It does not matter if they have a fur sibling for me or not. I will bring so much joy and many hours of happiness. Please request an application, place a deposit to start my journey home.
