He loves a good treat, a comfy bed and a nice walk to go to all the sniff spots! If you're looking for a semi lazy semi active dog, he is the one for the job! Barney is also in our Mutts with Manners training program! This program gives our residents more enrichment and a chance to show who they are beyond the cards that they have been dealt. Barney is a blue star meaning he has just entered the program and is working on basic commands as well as leash manners!

He lives up to his name too — Weiss means wise, and it fits: smart, intuitive, calm and observant rather than reactive.He’s been rock solid with toddlers, patient through the chaos and grabby hands. Good with other dogs, walks well on leash, housetrained and microchipped.With two young kids now in the house, we can’t give him the attention he deserves and want him to be someone’s main focus again.Best fit: active home, daily walks, good with kids and dogs. At just 6 months old and around 25 lbs, she is the perfect size for plenty of adventures without being too much dog! We expect her to mature to around 30–40 lbs. Sis was dumped in Lewisville and has been lovingly fostered with kids and other dogs around. Willing to transport almost anywhere in NC!
