Story
Great puppy looking for new home. Ive been with this family since I was 10 weeks old. We love each other, but I need more space. Plus, due to unavoidable family obligations, my humans now have to leave me in the kennel for large stretches of time. Which makes us both sad. I hope to find a place with lots of yard space and play time. I like kids. Not sure about dogs. Im healthy, had all my shots, completely house broken and even know a few commands (sit, wait, stop and time-out). Im smart and easy to train. Love to snuggle and enjoy riding with my people. I come with my own equipment (crate, toys, bowls, leashes, food, etc.) and am scheduled to be fixed on early April. Id be a great addition to your farm or hunt. Rehome fee negotiable to right home.

Bolt is a very sweet and quiet dog. Loves to take walks. He will stay in his crate all night! It was my moms dog and she is now not able to care for him due to her age. I have a dog and work long hours at the hospital and just can not give him the attention he deserves!

Story
Please contact foster at bmanalib@icloud.com- very sweet, shy at first but really warms up to you- Super calm for the majority of the time we had her - would get little bursts of energy now and then and want to run a bit- Took her to the whitewater center and she was really great with every dog she met and all of the kids that wanted to pet her - She did great with our dog who is a 55lb female pit mix- She got a lot of compliments and pets from people- Good walker - doesn’t pull at all but can be stubborn at times and dig her feet in the ground if there’s a good smell somewhere- Not treat motivated- Doesn’t seem like she knows basic commands but would sit or lay down often on her own- Road great in the car and slept the entire drive back from whitewater center

Story
Meet Kayak, a sweet and loving 4-year old hound mix girl. Kayak was abandoned by the lake and found by a good Samaritan who was going kayaking, hence how she got her name. Kayak attached herself to her savior and she just couldn’t be leave behind. She absolutely loves to give great kisses and is learning not to pull when walking on a leash. Kayak likes other dogs. Kayak has been fixed, up-to-date on her shots and heartworm negative. If you would like to meet this wonderful girl, please email info@angelstotheanimals.org. Please give this sweet, kind girl a chance to love you forever!! If you are unable to adopt but still want to help Kayak, please consider fostering her. Her current foster home is unable to continue fostering her much longer!

Story
My name is Winnie and I am a loving 7 year old, 50 pound girl that is a beautiful Hound breed called a Tree Walker.   I was found as a stray in the middle of a rural highway and I am such a soft and gentle girl that loves to lay around and sleep and just be an easy couch potato friend. I am housebroken, love a good tummy rub, pretty nice to all other dogs that I meet and I would be a great companion to a senior, retired person or couple who are looking for an easy dog to love.  I am healthy and spayed and microchipped and I am told that I am pretty, too.  Would you like to have a sweet companion for the next 7-8 years.  I will be happy to make your life so much more special if you invite me home.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is ready to help you adopt me if you write to them at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 27, 2024, 10:00 pm

Please contact foster parent at ebogart@winstead.comFive-year-old Kash is a happy go-lucky treeing walker coonhound mix. Kash is crate-trained, potty-trained and dog and cat friendly! He equally enjoys going for walks and chilling on the couch. While Kash is heartworm positive, he was treated for heartworms and received his last heartworm injection on February 29, 2024. Due to the injections he is currently on crate-rest until mid-April. Afterwards, he will be excited to resume walks and playtime with other furry friends. During his foster stay, he has lost a few pounds and is on his way to a healthy weight. If you are looking for a chill best friend who is up for some weekend adventures, Kash is your guy!

Story
Katharina is a is 4 -year-old Coonhound mix of something who currently weighs around 75 pounds. Katharina is fully vetted, crate trained and ready for her furever home. Katharina is not a typical Coonhound, as she prefers to be a stay-at-home dog, laying in or on your lap the whole day and then next to or on your bed with you! Katharina doesn’t enjoy leaving home, but she loves other dogs, in the home. She will make a great companion dog and due to this would prefer a home with a fenced in yard so she can be let out to do her business and roam a bit and come right back in! In her foster home Katharina has met many different types of dogs of all sizes and ages and she welcomes them in with no issues and shows them the rope! As for children, Katharina has done well with them, but we are noticing she would prefer older kids. If you are interested in adopting Katharina, please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. ***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.*** April 27, 2024, 4:07 pm
