With her outward pointing toes and cute underbite, Clarabelle is adorably regal. She weighs about 33 lbs. and is the perfect size to fit in any type of house or apartment. She is dog friendly and was ok with cats when tested with them. She is an all-around sweet girl. She loves all people and is always ready to greet people with a smile and her stumpy tail wagging. Clarabelle is a relaxed girl, hanging out on the dog bed, her crate or on the couch. But once you call her over, she is ready to snuggle up next to you for belly rubs. She also loves being in the yard, sitting or lying down to catch some rays. She does have her playful side, and will run around the yard or play with her toys. She seems to be house trained and is good in a crate overnight and while foster mom is at work. She walks nicely on a leash, but does love to stop and sniff all the sniffs. Clarabelle is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and is on monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. She is ready to charm her way into your home and heart so get your application in.   Look at this little face. Lily is as sweet as she is cute. She's about 2 years old and found her world turned upside down when her owner passed away, leaving behind 7 dogs. Family and friends took in 4 of the 7, and Lily and 2 others came into our rescue. Understandably confused, it took a few days for Lily to warm up. She bonds easily, is house trained, and a joy to be around. She can be a little mouthy when she gets excited and as such we will only consider homes with older children. Lily is getting spayed on 4/9. She'll be brought current on core vaccines and microchipped. We would love to find a home for Lily where someone is home more often. Story
Lily was surrendered to NorthStar when her owner became ill and could no longer care for her dogs. Although she is almost 9 years old, Lily is in good health, energetic and house-trained. She is a good listener who loves long walks and car rides. She is currently up to date on her shots, but is due for several vaccines in May - we'll ensure she receives those.  Lily has lived with another dog (Lucy Nason, also available for adoption) and is currently in temporary foster with a Lab and Golden Retriever. On walks she may bark at other dogs out of curiosity - she's not aggressive, just loud. Lily is crate trained and enjoys spending time in her individual crate even when given free roam of the house. Overall, she is a very sweet senior girl just looking for a new place to hang her leash!
