RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama toI the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 150.00 deposit required for dogs and 50.00 for cats. Due at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the deposit comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. One of my favorite things in the world is being around people. I love attention, affection, and having someone nearby to keep me company. I'm a sweet little pup with a playful, energetic side, and I enjoy having fun just as much as I enjoy being close to my human friends. Meet Dug the pug! Dug is a 2 yrs old pug who weighs 21 lbs. Dug is up to date with all his vaccines. Dug the pug is silly, affectionate and feisty at the same time. He love to play with his favorite squeaky ball. He loves to take his walks and does well on the leash. Although, he does get a little reactive when he sees other dogs. Dug is house and crate trained, making him a easy addition to the right household.  Dug would do best in a household with adults only -No small children and needs to be the only pet. Come meet Dug he is ready to find his forever home. Dug is neutered, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. He tested negative for heartworm, but did test positive for Lyme and is on a 30 day course of Doxycycline just to be on the safe side. He is now on monthly heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention. Haizyl is a sweet, loving 7-year-old Pit Bull mix who loves food, attention, and being with her people. She has a big personality and enjoys “helping” in the kitchen—especially when human food is involved!Affectionate and playful, Haizyl loves belly rubs, long walks, playtime, and plush toys. She’ll even “talk” back when spoken to! She isn’t typically a barker but will alert you when something unusual catches her attention.Haizyl is house-trained and enjoys spending time outdoors. After a walk or play session, she’s happy to curl up for a nap. She does well with baths, though she may try to escape, and her recurring ear infections require regular cleaning and care.Haizyl has lived with cats and other dogs, but she may need careful introductions with other dogs. She would also be happy as your only pet, receiving plenty of love and attention. Reason for rehoming says moving but after a house fire I’m facing financial hardships. I can’t give Haizyl the time and care she deserves.

Meet Pablo.  He is a 7-year-old, 10 lb., sweet affectionate little guy who is in need of a new home. He loves going to parks and loves the rain.  Pablo has done well in doggie day care, although he'll bark at big dogs until he feels comfortable, He has lived with another dog but has had no exposure to cats. He's fine with kids. He loves plastic, textured toys but will destroy stuffies and dog beds. He does well in his crate with a blanket or towels. He does have a bit of separation anxiety so his owner will leave the radio on for him while she's out.   He is home during the day for 6-8 hours but would do best with someone home more.  Please email us at Almosthome4Dogs@yahoo.com if you think Pablo would be a good fit for your family.
