Story
Penny is a four year old, 25 lb French Bulldog. Foster mom says that Penny is super funny. One of the Frenchie's best traits is that they keep you smiling and laughing! She likes to play with toys, play with other dogs, go for walks, sleep on the couch, and she loves to eat. Penny is housetrained, most of the time, but when it's cold and rainy, she's not 100% She hasn't been around little kids, but she is so sweet, we think she would be fine with kids over the age of 6. Penny has some allergy issues, which is very common with Frenchies. She is taking a daily serum which keeps the allergies under control. The first step to meeting Penny is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

My life's like a superhero comic book. Once, I was just an ordinary dog, until I swallowed a strange glowing stone during a game of fetch. Suddenly, I could understand humans and animals alike! With my new powers, I helped countless furry friends find their forever homes. However, the stone's power was temporary, and I ended up here at the shelter. But don't worry, I didn't lose my playful spirit! I'm still the same friendly, funny, energetic girl. I love playing and making people laugh. I'm ready to bring joy and laughter to your home. Adopt me and let's create our own superhero story together!April 14, 2025, 7:20 am

Story
And now for something a little different – Frenchies! 10-week-old Willo (a dapple-colored female) and Widget (a brown male) are playful and energetic puppies. Willo has a big personality and is the more dominant of the two. Widget is a little more timid and allows his sister to take the lead. Both enjoy playing with each other as well as with other dogs and nuzzling their foster mom’s neck. They like toys, but in typical puppy fashion, have extended their definition of “toys.” Willo likes to play with her bowl of food and try to turn it over, while Widget gets a kick out of playing with the mop while it cleans the floor. They are working on their housetraining and sleep together in a playpen area.Their ideal forever home(s) will ensure that one person is home most of the time to train and socialize them and have a securely fenced yard where they can run and play. If they are adopted separately, we believe they would do best in homes that have other friendly and playful pets. If you’re looking for puppy love with a French twist, say “Oui oui!” to Willow and Widget! Apply for them at dfwpugs.com.

Story
Minnow is now 11 weeks old and weighs 4.02 lbs. She’s making great progress with potty training and catching on quickly. Her foster family says she’s a total snuggle bug who loves playing with the other dogs in the home! At this time, we’re still unsure whether Minnow will be a candidate for cleft palate surgery. She has a cleft lip and a cleft palate. She drinks out of a special water bottle and can only eat hard puppy kibble. The roof of her mouth does have to be cleaned out every night to remove any food that may have gotten stuck. She hates this, but it is necessary. We are accepting pre-adoption applications. Due to her small size, we will not place her in a home with children under 16 or dogs over 25 lbs. An adopter with French Bulldog experience is preferred. To submit an application, please visit: www.rescuerowinc.org *The rescue will be spaying her when she is older. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2372695##

Story
Hi, I’m Bailee, a sweet and easygoing 2-year-old girl (23 lbs) who loves to play and relax with my humans and furry friends. I get along great with kids, seniors, cats, and dogs, but I’m a bit wary of bigger dogs. I’m super playful and love to hang out with my Boston Terrier buddy—though I am learning to be gentle, I’m a strong girl! I’m housetrained and non-destructive, so I’d be perfectly fine left home alone and loose. I love cuddles and snuggling up next to my dog siblings or humans when it’s time to relax. When I’m not napping, I love to play with whatever toy Janis has! I’m great on walks and in the car, but I also enjoy watching people and hanging out in a yard. My ideal home would have space for me to run and play, and I’d be happy with or without a dog sibling. I’m just looking for a loving, fun home where I can be myself! My adoption fee is $825. Thank you for your support in our rescue efforts!  If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application.
