Story
This animal is available at the Napa County Shelter Phone: 707-253-4382 PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT NORTH BAY Luna ID 44065   Breed: German Shepherd   Sex: Female   Age: 3 years, 5 months, 1 week   Weight: 47 lbs   Date In: 2/3/2024   Have you ever met a German Shepherd as charming and loyal as Luna? This three-year-old furry ball of happiness will steal your heart with her stunning smile and cheerful personality. She's the perfect addition to any family looking for a new furry friend! Luna loves to go for walks, and she's always eager to learn new commands and tricks. She's also a big fan of playing with most dogs and making new friends. However, we must warn you that Luna has a bit of an obsession with playing, especially with smaller breeds. In her previous home, she had a little brother whom she loved to play with, but he couldn't catch a break because she was always up for a game! So, if you have a small breed or are considering adopting one, be mindful of Luna's playful nature. The Napa County Shelter Erika Gamez Shelter Manager  942 Hartle Court  Napa, CA  94558  Main Phone: 707-253-4382  Main Fax: 707-253-6191  Kelly Tracey, Shelter Supervisor  ktracey@co.napa.ca.usMay 25, 2024, 2:04 am

Story
Sadie (and her puppies) were part of a heartwarming rescue operation, all thanks to the incredible efforts of a compassionate Good Samaritan. Sadie and her fluffy family was found alone. and afraid, and safely trapped before being transported to our farm, where they received the love and care they needed. Our dedicated team wasted no time in ensuring their well-being. The mom and her precious pups received their first round of vaccinations, as well as thorough treatments for worms, fleas, and ticks. Having taken great care of her puppies, it's now Sadie's turn to be taken care of. She is still very timid and can be fearful of new people, but is making good progress under the care of our staff & volunteers.

Story
Meet Noelle Last Christmas Eve was truly magical as we welcomed this special mama dog and her adorable litter of puppies into our program, who were found in Fresno and brought to us through our network of good humans. While we don't have much information about her past, we can tell you that Noelle has an incredible personality! She absolutely adores our staff and volunteers, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. She also part of a playgroup with dogs of her own size, showing her social side and enjoying some fun and frolic! While this sweet girl enjoys her peace and quiet she will also make a great adventure buddy! Whether it's cuddling up on the couch or joining you on exciting escapades, she's ready to be your perfect companion. Her foster mom tells us: "She is so sweet and loving. She loves cuddles and even to be brushed. She is a very fast learner and highly treat motivated. She is potty trained but doesn't have the ability to hold it as long as my dog. She's learning but right now I have about 60 seconds to let her out once she notifies me she has to go and about every other night she will have to go around 3am. She's still very oral, she likes to put your arm or hand in her mouth but has never nipped me or any guests. Honestly she is a great companion, especially if you have an active lifestyle, she can walk for miles but is also happy snuggling in the coach." Do you have room in your heart and home for this amazing mama dog? Help us give her the forever home she deserves. Reach out to us today to meet her and learn more about this incredible bundle of love!
