Story
This good boy, Tundra, is an 8-year-old white Shepard mix who came to Lily’s from San Francisco. Tundra was adopted in 2016 as a puppy but was returned when his family fell on tough times. Tundra has clearly spent time in a family. He is a true gentleman, well-mannered and eager to please! He is very treat-motivated and has already learned how to “sit” and is working on “drop it” and “down” with his foster family. His second favorite thing after treats is humans. He loves affection and enjoys being brushed. He is soft and gentle with everyone he meets. He even joins his foster family for happy hour in the city and is a perfect gentleman! Tundra is house trained, quiet and only makes sounds when a firetruck passes (have to add a howl!) and for a satisfied grunt for a biiiiiig strettttchhh! He has a soft spot for his stuffies, especially his duck. Tundra is good on leash – he does show excitement for other dogs approaching but he is not reactive or aggressive and can be redirected easily. He gets along with other dogs - both big and small! He’s even been reported to be a very good office mate and all-around perfect pal! Tundra has his own Instagram! Follow along on his adoption journey: @adopt_tundra.

Story
Navarro is a sweet 7-year-old German Shepard who came to Lily’s from Oakland Animal Shelter. We are convinced that this goofball is a Golden Retriever inside a German Shepard suit! He loves to swim in the Lily’s pool, bobbing for balls and then dries off with a good roll in the grass. Navarro is an energetic 7-year-old who needs daily physical and mental exercise. Aside from swimming, he loves to romp around the Lily’s dog park, chasing the ball. He does well with other dogs, loves people and actively seeks affection - leaning on you, putting his head on your lap or sitting at your feet. He sleeps well through the night, either on a dog bed nearby - or in bed with you if you invite him! He walks well on leash, is potty trained and loves to ride in the car. He doesn’t seem to resource guard and has a gentle mouth. The perfect dog if you ask us!

Story
ZARINA Zarina is an 8-year-old petite German Shepard mix from Fresno. She is still getting acclimated to Lily’s after spending 4 months in another shelter. Zarina loves people and prefers to be near a human. While she prefers to stay close, she is low maintenance and will curl up at your feet nearby patiently waiting for her turn. Zarina has plenty of energy left for a senior and needs daily exercise and engagement. She isn’t very ball motivated, but loves to play and run in the Lily’s corral. Zarina gets along with other dogs, but can be dog selective and prefers a proper introduction to new canine friends. We will post more as we get to know her.

Story
Meet Noelle Last Christmas Eve was truly magical as we welcomed this special mama dog and her adorable litter of puppies into our program, who were found in Fresno and brought to us through our network of good humans. While we don't have much information about her past, we can tell you that Noelle has an incredible personality! She absolutely adores our staff and volunteers, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. She also part of a playgroup with dogs of her own size, showing her social side and enjoying some fun and frolic! While this sweet girl enjoys her peace and quiet she will also make a great adventure buddy! Whether it's cuddling up on the couch or joining you on exciting escapades, she's ready to be your perfect companion. Her foster mom tells us: "She is so sweet and loving. She loves cuddles and even to be brushed. She is a very fast learner and highly treat motivated. She is potty trained but doesn't have the ability to hold it as long as my dog. She's learning but right now I have about 60 seconds to let her out once she notifies me she has to go and about every other night she will have to go around 3am. She's still very oral, she likes to put your arm or hand in her mouth but has never nipped me or any guests. Honestly she is a great companion, especially if you have an active lifestyle, she can walk for miles but is also happy snuggling in the coach." Do you have room in your heart and home for this amazing mama dog? Help us give her the forever home she deserves. Reach out to us today to meet her and learn more about this incredible bundle of love!

Story
Sherman joined us from the Fresno Humane Society and has been a cherished part of our rescue family for the past three months in a loving foster home in New Mexico but now back on the Farm in Sonoma. Sherman is either a Plush Coated German Shepherd or a Tervuren. Regardless of his exact breed, he's a stunning and noble dog with a luxurious coat. Sherman is the epitome of a true gentleman. He carries himself with incredible gentleness and calmness, making him a perfect companion for anyone seeking a serene and loving dog. Though a bit timid at first, once he warms up, he is a loyal and affectionate friend. Sherman is good with everyone he meets, showing kindness and patience to both adults and children. He gets along fine with other dogs, though he prefers the company of calm and gentle dogs over big, bouncy ones. Sherman is housebroken and has excellent manners indoors. He respects household rules and is easy to live with. He rides great in the car, making him an ideal companion for trips and adventures. Walking Sherman is a joy as he is easy on the leash and does not pull, making daily walks a pleasant experience. Sherman is an older gentleman, which means he brings a sense of wisdom and steadiness that younger dogs may not. His calm demeanor and gentle nature make him a perfect match for a peaceful home where he can spend his golden years being loved and cherished. If you're looking for a well-mannered, loving, and gentle companion, Sherman could be the perfect match for you. Come meet this wonderful older gentleman and give him the forever home he deserves.

Story
Wolf is a bit of an introvert- he is a sensitive and shy boy who is very sweet but needs time to warm up at his own pace. He is more reserved than his brother and he needs a gentle, calm family where he is allowed to have his space when he needs it. He is less treat motivated but enjoys toys, and this would be a great way to bond with him and help him become more comfortable in new spaces. He rides quietly and comfortably in the car and is learning to walk on a leash. He will bond very strongly with people who win his trust. He is a sweetheart!
