Zoey is 3 years old, she’s sweet, great with kids! I’m hoping to find a home either it’s a family or just a couple. She’s great on walks. She loves stuffed animals, she’s likes to bring them out with her even on bathroom breaks. Up to date with her shots, recently got groom but wasn’t a big fan of it, just liked baths. She grew up with other dogs her whole life.

Rocket, that’s the name he was given when me and my brother got him as a puppy. he is an amazing dog and such a good boy. he loves to play catch & only got to learn, sit, drop (ball) he’s a good listener. we got him on may15,2023 so he’ll be a year next month. we love him we do but the timing wasn’t right no matter how much we tried. He is a handful and we weren’t ready to give him 100% of our attention due to work and already had a smaller dog and a cat which they didn’t really get along. he’s never bit anyone but he’s always been very territorial on his toys. he would growl but never in a hurtful way and is always so happy to be outside and will jump so high to catch his toys. he never got used to having a bed because he would always rip the beds or anything with stuffing in it. It would be ideal for him to find a better home then what we could have given him by someone who able to spend more time with him or have another dog with the same build to play with so he wouldn’t be alone.

Story

Medusa is a 4 year old german shepherd (turning 5 in October). We took in Medusa when she was about 4 months old from a family friend. We were told she was a pure german shepherd although she didn’t grow to be as large as one. We suspect she may be mixed or perhaps a runt but from the way she looks you can’t even tell. Medusa is very protective and loving but can be very energetic and jumpy. She loves to be around people but tends to get too excited and has a jumping problem. She has been good around our children who are mostly older. She does have a problem with “fighting” our larger male dog but we presume it may just be for dominance reasons. As mentioned, she loves attention and in the past has even faked an injury so she can be near us. Medusas worst quality is her hatred for the vet. She has thrown huge fits and taken off muzzles. Recently with a new family member it’s been especially hard to care for her properly and we think it’s best she finds someone with more time for her.

Fostering in Pittsburgh, PA - transport available to her perfect person! 2 years old, 45 lbs, spayed female UTD on vaccines, microchipped, & on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventatives ✅ Good with men & women ✅ Good with older children ✅ Good with other dogs (requires a companion) ✅ Good with cats - housetrained - crate-trained; does not need to be crated, but needs a crate available as a safe space - shy with new people and takes a while to warm up; once she knows you, she is a sweetheart who will seek affection gently (licks your hand and wags her tail) - no small children as they are too much for her while adjusting to a new environment - will bark and retreat to her crate when unknown (to her) visitors come to your home - Relies heavily on other dogs when adjusting to change or interacting with something/someone new so she will require a confident canine companion - occasionally plays with the other dogs but is low energy herself and prefers dogs who are not constantly in her face seeking interaction - neutral with our cats and doesn't mind them sitting on the leather chair with her or grooming her coat - loves toys and will carry them around the yard or to her crate, she'll tell you she loves plush toys but she will also promptly tear them apart - walks well on leash when accompanied by a person & dog she trusts. Leashes/collars were a foreign concept to her when she arrived and it took her a while to be comfortable with them so she will likely regress a bit with a new family until trust is built. She still gets nervous at times but recovers quickly. She will now go to the door to be leashed with loose body language & a wagging tail when her collar is put on - will require a secure, physically fenced yard *Andy takes daily fluoxetine to help her manage her anxiety. It is about $20 every 2-3 months.*
