Meet Totoro! This absolutely stunning shepherd mix is the best friend anyone can ask for! He is such a gentleman while on a walk, loving to walk right by your side. He adores being pet and loved on, and will lean his whole body into you to tell you he needs some love and attention. His favorite thing is being brushed and will sit for it forever while you watch tv together! He had a great time in foster, where Totoro showed that he is totally housebroken throughout the workday and night, and was a truly joyful houseguest! He adores going out for his walks and gets so excited to go outside! He loves to sniff around and get all the doggy gossip. Weight: 82 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Yes! They will potty outside every time or nearly every time (rarely has accidents). Crate-trained: Unknown! They have never been crated while in foster care. Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training. He has been improving a lot and is an enjoyable walk! Dog sociability: No thanks! Cat sociability: They do not do well with cats! They will chase, bite, attack, or otherwise harm or frighten cats. Kid sociability: Good with older kids! They are a little too much for small kids or have a history of behaviors that are difficult to manage around smaller children, but they are fine with kids ages 13-18. This pint-sized, smart, sassy, sweet girl has recovered from her injuries and is finally ready for her forever home. Hera loves learning and training! She's very food-motivated and eager-to-please, and she picks up new cues exceptionally quickly when rewarded with snacks. Hera likes other dogs, but she's still working on her manners when meeting them so would do best with a tolerant canine companion. Hera's fosters say "She’s the sweetest, most resilient little girl!
