Story
Meet Baylee, a silly, playful and adventurous shepherd mix. There is nothing Baylee loves more than playing with toys (especially in the snow- she’s a huge fan). She is a true fetch fanatic and could spend all day with her favorite tennis balls and stuffies. She even carries them with her on walks!! She is incredibly food motivated and loves to learn.Baylee is super smart and has already mastered sit, paw and down. While she is still learning to calmly walk on leash she has made great progress. Baylee has enjoyed going on hikes with her favorite staff members and would thrive in an active home where she has the opportunities to get all her energy out. Due to her size and exuberant personality, she would do best in a home with older teens who are big enough that she can romp around and continue training with. She would prefer to be the only dog so she can soak up every minute of attention but might be able to have dog friends. If you are interested in adopting Baylee, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-3:45pm. Please bring everyone who would live Baylee. Please email dogs@worcestearl.org to see what other times may be available if you are unable to come during the above hours

Story
Meet Odin, a 5-year-old male shepherd with a big heart and a loyal soul. Odin is potty trained, knows sit and stay, and does well walking out and about with a human who’s attentive and able to give him space from the hustle and bustle when he needs it. He can be okay with other dogs after short, proper introductions, but he’s happiest as the only dog in the home. Odin has lived with cats and has been pretty respectful with them, and while he loves kids, he doesn’t have a ton of experience so calm, guided interactions are best. He can resource guard toys, food, or his favorite person at times, so he’s looking for a confident, experienced owner who can continue working with him and set clear boundaries. Odin shows signs of hip dysplasia and will need supportive care as he gets older, but it doesn’t slow down his loving nature or his desire to be close to his people. Odin may also experience some distress when left alone, and we think an ideal home for him will include people who are able to spend most of their time with him. He’s a devoted companion who will thrive in a home that understands him and is ready to give him the structure, patience, and affection he deserves.
