Story
I'm Luke, a five-year-old German Shepherd Dog. True to my breed, I'm incredibly smart and very loyal. I love my people and like to be close to them. My foster mom said I'm snuggly and sweet! I'm also well behaved in the home: I'm totally housebroken, and I sleep through the night on my dog bed. I am not destructive so haven't needed to be crated. I enjoy going for long walks, and I walk well on leash -- I make great eye contact with my person to check in as we go. Like most male GSDs, I will benefit from a confident owner with a knowledge of the breed. I'm also looking for an experienced foster home as I'm currently at the shelter. Please apply at https://www.saveadog.org/applytoadopt.asp, and someone will get right back to you.

Story
Meet Coco!Looking for a young, fun, and irresistibly adorable pup to complete your family? Say hello to Coco, a 6-month-old bundle of joy who’s ready to zoom her way right into your heart! She currently weighs about 31 lbs. and is expected to grow into a perfectly medium-sized companion. She’s the whole package: playful, affectionate, and bursting with puppy personality! Whether she’s chasing her favorite toy, showing off her silly side, or delighting you with her signature zoomies, Coco’s zest for life is contagious. She’s a good match for households with dog-savvy teens and other playful pups, and she thrives in an energetic, dog-friendly household. She hasn`t met any feline friends, so we can`t say for sure how she would do in a home with cats.In her local foster home, Coco is working hard on her puppy essentials, like house training, crate time, and leash walking--and making great progress! She’d love an active family who can keep up with her fun-loving spirit and continue helping her grow into the confident, well-mannered dog she’s destined to be. She would benefit from a home with at least one other playful dog and a fenced-in yard. Her foster says, `Coco is very friendly and energetic. She loves other dogs and loves to run and play. She has a ball that releases treats and she figured it out immediately. She is a puppy and likes to do puppy things like chew and jump but is very easily redirected. She is crate trained and will let you know when she needs out of the crate to go potty. She has a few accidents inside when out of crate but we are working on it. She likes car rides but will try to climb in your lap when driving to get a better view! She likes to explore her surroundings and will circle the house a lot when out of crate but does settle down after she checks everything out. She is very sweet and loves to give kisses. I think she is going to make a great dog for whomever is lucky enough to adopt her!`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment. Story
Meet Junie B. Jones – A Quiet Soul Ready to Bloom 🌸🐾 After spending 322 days as part of a large cruelty case, Junie B. Jones is finally free — and now she’s searching for a very special home to call her own. Junie is a shy, sensitive girl who has endured more than any dog should. She’s still learning how to trust the world around her, and she’ll need a patient, understanding adopter who can help her feel safe at her own pace. Though slow to open up, Junie is incredibly endearing — she’ll gently offer you kisses, loves the company of people she knows and trusts, and will proudly parade around with her favorite toys, which she adores even more than treats! Junie is super playful and has the cutest little prance when she’s showing off her latest toy. Soft squeaky toys are her favorite, and watching her light up as she plays is pure joy. At the shelter, Junie formed a deep bond with her “sister” Amelia Bedelia, and the two have been inseparable ever since. They’ve truly helped each other come out of their shells. While we know it’s a long shot, if someone is open to welcoming both girls into their home, it would be a dream come true. That said, we’re absolutely open to finding separate placements — as long as each goes to a home with a confident dog sibling to help them feel safe and supported. Junie isn’t quite comfortable with petting yet and is still building her confidence on walks, but she enjoys quiet strolls in the woods with people she trusts. She’s looking for a calm, consistent home with a fenced-in yard, a gentle routine, and plenty of patience and love. Helping Junie blossom will take time, but it will also be incredibly rewarding. With love, understanding, and the right canine companion, we know she’ll grow into the happy, trusting dog she was always meant to be 💖💕

Story
Meet Todd!Todd is approximately 6 months old, 28 lbs currently and he possibly has some Shepherd in his mix! Todd was a stray. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training, and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 5+, and other young, playful dogs. He has not been exposed to cats. His foster says, `Todd is very smart and sweet. He is still a puppy. I`m sure he will blossom into the most wonderful dog. He loves playing with our other foster dog Winnie and just running around in the yard. After a long day of playing he loves belly rubs and some couch time to relax. He is precious and whoever ends up with him will be so very lucky.`He is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment. Story
Before calling about this dog, please read our adoption requirements at http://gsrne.org/requirements-for-adopting-from-gsrne This pretty girl is ready to meet her forever family. Nyx is a sweet two year-old who you would describe as an easy child. She is quiet, very affectionate, and loves spending time with her favorite people. Nyx did excellent in her training classes, walks well on the leash, and is easy-going on walks and public outings. She did live originally with three other dogs so we do think she would do well living with a male dog. Nyx is looking for someone to love her as much as she will love them. https://gsrne.org/dog-bios/nyx/
