Whether she’s chasing her favorite toy, showing off her silly side, or breaking into one of her signature zoomies, she’s guaranteed to keep you smiling.Coco would thrive in an active, dog-friendly home with at least one other playful pup to keep her company. She’s also done well with the dog-savvy cats in her foster home. Older, dog-savvy kids would be a good match for her, too. Meet Shadow! Shadow is approximately 9 months old, ~35 lb currently, and she is a mixed breed pup! She was left behind with her mama and siblings when her former family moved. In her foster home, she is house trained, doesn`t need to be crated when left alone, and doing well on leashed walks. She could join households with teens, other playful pups, and dog-savvy cats. Her foster says, `She was quite shy in the beginning, but after about a week she started warming up, and now she fully lets us know what she wants and shamelessly asks for cuddles. She’s fully potty trained, doesn`t chew furniture or get into trouble, and her heel walk is perfect. She also handles free-roam home alone time without a crate just fine. She gets along great with Yaco and shows no resource guarding.While having another dog-friendly pup around would be ideal, she could do fine as an only dog too. Because she loves the outdoors so much, a peaceful, scenic area with a grassy yard to lie on would suit her far better than a bustling city.`She is available for adoption in Shrewsbury, MA or Hopkinton, MA by appointment. Fully crate-trained and respectful of household routines, Kiba has all the wonderful qualities that come with maturity. When it’s time to head outside, Kiba is always ready for an adventure. She walks beautifully on leash, responds well to commands, and loves exploring with her people. Four-year-old Maggie is a beautiful sable German Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger love of life. She is outgoing, friendly and loves everyone she meets especially children. She readily accepts affection and thoroughly enjoys being part of the action. Maggie is what we affectionately call a “ball dog.” She loves playing fetch, toys and anything that keeps her moving and engaged. She is very high energy and would be a wonderful companion for an active person or family who enjoys long walks, hiking, outdoor adventures and plenty of playtime. Maggie is looking for a home where her enthusiasm, affection and energetic spirit will be appreciated. For the right family, this beautiful girl has so much love and plenty of tennis-ball-chasing—to give! Maggie’s owner welcomed her into her home two years ago after learning that Maggie had been living outside 24/7. Bella came to GSRNE when her owner, a Navy veteran, made the difficult decision to surrender her while he focused on his own health and well-being. Recognizing that a young puppy requires a great deal of time, attention, and training, he wanted Bella to have every opportunity to thrive. And now, this adorable little girl is ready to find her forever family! Bella is what we often refer to as a “soft” dog—a gentle, sensitive, affectionate girl who responds best to kindness, patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. She absolutely loves people, enjoys playing, and has formed a wonderful bond with her two-year-old German Shepherd foster brother. The two have become great buddies! Because Bella missed out on some important training and socialization during her early puppyhood, she will need a family who understands that she is still learning about the world around her. Introducing.... drum roll please....dadadada... BACON!! This energetic, fun-loving boy will always keep you moving. Bacon is a German Shepard mix that we rescued a couple of years ago as he was at a high kill shelter and we know how that goes for so many loving pets. With intentions to rehome him sooner after saving him, he has just been so much fun and a wonderful friend to our other rescues, but now with a growing family we just don't have the time to give to Bacon with all his boundless energy and hoping to find that loving home that can give this boy a run for his money....literally run run! Bacon always loves to play ball and fetch with any kind of ball you can find, especially a nice football or soccer ball, that he will likely POP!. Bacon just looooves to chase little animals, including little dogs, so he is suited for only medium to larger dogs if you have other dogs at home. And of course he is such a snuggle bug on the couch, and he will happily take over your entire bed!!
