Story
Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move, I need to find a new home for my dog. His name is Taz, and he’s 4½ years old. He’s a very sweet boy and doesn’t need much—just love, care, and affection. I’m looking for a responsible owner who will take good care of him and give him the attention he deserves. I can also provide some of his belongings to help with the transition, including bowls, collars, and other essentials. If you’re interested or would like more information, please reach out.

Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Creed! Creed is approximately 1 year old, 26 lbs currently and he might have some Lab or Hound or German Shepherd in his mix! In his foster home, he is working hard on his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids, cats, and other dogs. His foster says, `Creed is a precious boy! He loves to play with our kids and other dogs. He also loves a good cuddle session with his people. Definitely a gentle, submissive guy! He is learning the leash and crate and doing well with both. He’s had a few accidents in the house, but mostly due to humans not getting him out quickly enough. He’s also learning to keep his paws off the counters and quickly figured out “Sit” and is learning a few other commands. He would make the most amazing addition to a family with other pets, kids, and has somebody home more often than not. His new family is going to be so lucky to have him!`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 2nd. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Meet Nicholas, a sweet German Shepherd looking for a fresh start after his family lost their housing. This handsome boy is everything we love about German Shepherds—affectionate, intelligent, and wonderfully attentive. He bonds closely with his people and is happiest when included in daily life, especially if it involves car rides, which he adores. At the shelter Nicholas is a happy wiggle butt and his tail is always wagging and he has done well meeting new people. Nicholas has no known history living with children, so we’re recommending a home without young kids while he settles in and gains confidence. He may enjoy sharing his home with another dog, but a meet prior to adoption is essential a good match. He is great with handling - except for nails/feet and will need his new home to be willing to work on helping him to get better with this. Staff would be happy to provide potential adopters with info to help Nicholas progress with this issue. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will reward your care with devotion and love, Nicholas may be the perfect partner. He’s ready to begin his next chapter—could it be with you?If you are interested in adopting Nicholas please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. If you are unable to come to the shelter during those hours please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see if there are other times available to meet him.

Story
He's the sweetest soul; his pretty brown eyes will make you fall in love. A friend of the family had given us Kobe. He is just about a year old. His birthday is January 5, 2025. He has been crate trained, however we have a very busy schedule and he can benefit from a family that can get him obedience training and have the time and ability to play with him and burn some energy. He's an intelligent dog. He needs to be socialized a bit more with other dogs. He is not violent, but is very curious and likes to sniff people and other dogs to get to know them.

Story
Tabaias is a high energy, rowdy guy, looking for someone who can keep up with his rough and tumble lifestyle. Tabias loves his toys, loves swimming, and has been learning a lot of new skills with positive reinforcement training. Tabias is still working on his manners and learning to navigate the world with all four paws on the ground, so he is looking for a home who is interetsed in a bit of a project dog. Tabias would prefer a home without other dogs or cats so he can be the center of your attention, but he could be successful in a home with kids who can participate in his training.
