Story
MEET MOUSE!Mouse is a sweet young dog who spent time in foster before being made adoptable in order to gain weight. He got along well with the other dog in the foster home, and may do well with another social dog in his adoptive home. This silly boy loves to hang out in strange positions and his quirky habit is stealing his foster`s shoes to cuddle with! If you are looking for a snuggly pup who is equal parts playful and affectionate, come meet Mouse in Brewster today!Mouse is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Mouse or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Story
Meet Marshmallow!Marshmallow is still very new to us and we're still very new to Marshmallow. She's a young girl, around two years old, 45lbs, and she's been done the tragic disservice of just...not being allowed to experience the world. That means that everything is absolutely TERRIFYING for Marshmallow right now.Your first instinct is going to be to coddle her. You absolutely CANNOT coddle her because she will fully take advantage of it and then she'll never get over her fears of...everything. We don't know much about her yet. We do know she's had at least one litter. We know that she lived with other dogs. We know that there's an absolute sweetheart underneath all of that fear and marshmallow fluff. Despite how genuinely terrified of everything she is (the wind, a single glove, etc), she hasn't shown any aggression or reactivity. She absolutely thrives outside, loves the snow, and loves big open spaces like our agility course. We're hoping that she'll come out of her shell as we work more with her and she gets comfortable with us so our requirements for her may change but right now we're looking for an adult only home with breed experience. To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.

Story
Molasses is a little Over the Garden Wall soul—she may be wary of new paths and unfamiliar faces at first, but once she knows you, she warms right up and leans in for all the gentle scratches and pets. Still learning her way through the woods, she’s wonderfully treat-motivated and excited to train with someone who’ll guide her kindly toward her happily ever after. Molasses could live with another role model dog, a dog-savvy cat, and/or kids who are excited to participate in her training.

Story
Meet Fox! In mid December, a sweet 5-month-old male puppy was found wandering the streets at night. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan brought him to the Police Department, where he was temporarily placed with an officer. Unfortunately, due to a full-time job and two family dogs, the officer was unable to foster him any longer.
