Meet Echo! Echo is an adventurous, loving and smart shepherd mix. She is an active girl looking for a fresh start!Echo`s three favorite things are being outside, cream cheese and tennis balls. She loves to spend her days outside playing fetch, going on hikes and then settling in with some cream cheese filled enrichment. If you`re looking for a happy adventure buddy, then Echo is the one for you!Echo is looking for adopters who can continue to put her brain to use (she loves to learn new tricks) and show her the ropes of being a dog. She has already mastered sit, paw, down and drop it and is working on spin and rollover. She is incredibly loyal and will lean in for pets once comfortable. Echo may enjoy living with older kids, but we are not sure if she ever has lived with them. Dogs? Maybe, but they would have to meet first. If you are interested in adopting Echo, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays between 12-4pm and bring the folks that you live with. She was saved from a heartbreaking area where dogs were often shot for sport. One day, she stumbled upon the right home—a kind person who refused to look away and contacted someone who came to save her. From there, Tabitha found safety at a roadside rescue network and began her long journey toward a better life. For the past few years, Tabitha has been living at the rescue headquarters. During that time, she completed much-needed heartworm treatment and is now healthy and ready to take the next step. Tabitha is a true gem. She loves stealing toys and hiding them in her crate, a playful quirk that melts the hearts of everyone who meets her. She adores being walked by visitors, is crate trained, and is good with other dogs. Her best friend is a male named Winston. However, she isn’t cat-friendly, so her foster home will need to be feline-free. Her salt-and-pepper face tells us she’s a senior, though her exact age is unknown.
