Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Rudy is now in NJ. Rudy came from the Wolf Pond Sanctuary in rural Mississippi. Wolf Pond Sanctuary is closing and all of the remaining dogs need a place to go asap.  Rudy was been at the Sanctuary for his whole life in an outdoor kennel with a concrete floor. He has never known the inside of a house, the warmth of a fireplace, the comfort of his persons bed until now.  Rudy will need a gentle, patient person willing to put some time and effort in to teaching him the joys of being a pampered pet. He will need to learn housebreaking but crate training will be a breeze. He will need to learn to trust humans as Rudy is a shy, timid boy who was never properly socialized. Rudy is a flight risk based on his nature and lack of socialization and will require special precautions (martingale collar, leash to collar and harness, caution around doors and when exiting vehicles).   Rudy is dog friendly. He used to live with Tinsel who is in our care here in NJ. Rudy did well on his cat test. Based on his timid nature, he will likely do well with and find comfort in other animals. No small kids for Rudy and a quiet home would be best. Rudy is fixed and up to date on vaccines. We will arrange for him to be microchipped.  Rudy tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $300.    How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to  wagoninn.rescuegroups.org . Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Hi, my name is Howie. I'm really hoping someone wants to come and meet me! I promise you will see how sweet and loving I am. I love being with people and would make a great companion. I don't love to be by myself but I am crate trained. I enjoy playing and running so I would love a home with other dogs or even kids who would like to play with me. I walk nicely on a leash so I hope you like to walk too. I know how to potty outside and I only bark when someone is trying to come into my home. I also know basic commands and my foster family is working on teaching me more. Please put in an application for me because I would really love to have a chance to meet you!  Howie Blue is a very handsome Shepherd mix who is looking for a new home. He was adopted from Wag On Inn Rescue nearly 2 years ago as a small pup. His family decided they could no longer afford to feed him and insisted we take him immediately. He’s now in a loving foster home and doing very well. This handsome boy is sweet, friendly and a little clumsy.   His foster says, “He’s a very friendly dog! He does very well with other dogs and cats. He plays with his toys and he’s learning to fetch and return the ball. He doesn’t bark unless to warn you someone is at the door. He’s a great boy who would love an active family. He loves when my grandbabies come over to play with him.” Howie Blue is house broken and crate trained. He previously lived with 2 cats and did well. He’s fine tuning his manners and working on not jumping up in excitement and some leash pulling. However, but he is overall a very sweet boy and well behaved. Howie is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $400.    How to Adopt Me! Story
Meet Louisa! Louisa is an adult female German shepherd who initially came to Husky House all the way from Qatar! Louisa is a smart, affectionate, and playful dog. She can become stressed when touched or grabbed in unexpected ways and may need time to settle into a new home before guests are brought over. While she generally likes anyone, she meets at Husky House, Louisa builds trust with individuals the more time she spends with them and may do best with multiple meet and greets before going to a forever home. Unfortunately, she has been adopted and returned when the adopters did not listen to advice from Husky House regarding these points. Louisa plays very well with male dogs her size but can be selective with females. She enjoys going for walks and knows Sit and Paw! Please no homes with young/small children, small animals, small dogs or cats. Previous dog experience a must to be considered for adoption. Interested in adopting Louisa? Please visit www.huskyhouse.org today to fill out an application.May 31, 2023, 4:24 pm
