This sweet girl came to us with her three siblings after the person who bred their mom and dad was unable to sell them. Now at five months old, these goofy, big, friendly puppies are more than ready to find their forever homes. Their mom is a Golden Retriever and dad is a German Shepherd, giving them the perfect mix of smart, loyal, and lovable. Their foster families have been hard at work helping them learn basic obedience, crate training, and housebreaking, and they’re doing great! They’ll thrive with a family who is excited to keep up their training and help them grow into amazing adult dogs. These pups are dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and full of love, and they would make a wonderful addition to just about any family. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, and loyal companion, this guy might be your perfect match.

🚨 Toby is losing his home and needs a dedicated foster or adopter! Toby is a four year old neutered male German Shepherd. He is friendly with greeting guests and new people, but also loves to be with his people. Toby’s very big at 100 lbs and strong. He is a talkative shepherd, but that’s just who he is. He walks wonderfully on leash, except when he sees squirrels. But he is easily redirected with food! Toby’s super smart and will work for food or toys! He LOVES tug! He also has a very nice off switch in the house. He is known to be dog friendly at the dog park and met our female dog tester, so he can live with another dog, but he can be vocal when meeting mew dogs. Any dog siblings would require a meet a greet with Toby because it must be a good match, and the resident dog should be less confrontational. He’s been around cats, but is afraid of them and will bark at them so he may be best with no kitties. We will be requiring German Shepherd/large breed working dog experience for him. And a family who will pursue professional training and work at long term management of teaching him to tolerate paw touching/nail clipping, teeth brushing and ear cleaning. Toby will also require a fenced in yard as he has been known to leave the yard and can clear a 5 ft fence to run after squirrels. We are hoping an experienced foster or adopter applies for him within the time frame we have but we cannot take him in without a committed foster/adopter willing to work with Toby.

Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This young boy was found as a stray and the finders could not keep him. He is a friendly boy who is with another dog and has done fine. He knows how to walk on a leash and we assume is housetrained. He is all fixed and ready to go.

Carrots is an owner give up to our rescue. Below is the information her owner gave us initially. I have had Carrots for almost two years now. She has been the most amazing friend I could have asked for. She rarely barks and only lets out an occasional whine if she needs to go out or is wanting some attention. She’s a well behaved for a dog that lives her life with me in a small dorm and can only go out to play fetch or go for a walk when I’m not at class or work. She needs better. In general, she has been amazing for the hand she’s been dealt. I actually couldn’t be more grateful for how well she’s treated me as she’s grown to be near a full two years old!! I am having to part with her because she is still a puppy, and I’m a Junior in college struggling to work and commute on weekends when I have to, and give her the attention she deserves. She’s trained well. She sits on command, she can stay if you ask, she’s house trained, and she’s comfortable with her kennel if needed. She uses a harness for walks and does great. She was trained to walk on the left of you and she’s usually pretty good about staying focused. She has started the process of being an ESA certified dog but has not rec'd her second certification. Her previous owner said that she was around a child once and growled so we do not recommend her with small children. She has never been around cats so we cannot say whether she will or will not be okay arounds feline friends. She would make a great family member for an active family. I aquire my dog 2 years ago. He was 8 weeks old, now he is 2 years and 2 months old. I had him for two years. I bought him in upstate NY. 5 hours from where I live. He, is an amazing dog, he likes to play, full of energy and always ready to play. I am looking for a loving home for Shadow. I want to know that he's being taking care of with love. He deserves lots of love. Loves my son and it's always looking forward to seeing him. Unfortunately I will be having my second back surgery and I won't be able to care for him like he deserves. He deserves attention, he deserves time and he deserves love.
