This beautiful brindle German Shepherd mix is just one year old and ready for her fresh start. Madison was adopted as a puppy and grew up loved alongside a toddler, but her family faced medical and financial challenges and could no longer keep her. Despite having her life turned upside down, Madison is doing wonderfully in foster care. She is healthy, house-trained, crate-trained, and a quiet girl in the home. She loves to play so much that her foster occasionally has to be the party pooper and call a timeout! Madison is gentle with younger puppies and does well with dogs her own size. She is still learning to be mindful around very small dogs—she truly wants to make friends, but her big puppy enthusiasm can be a bit overwhelming for a 10-pound pup. She can be a little shy in new situations and likes a few minutes to take it all in, but treats and patience go a long way with this smart, eager-to-learn girl. Madison is looking for a loving home ready to give this playful, loyal young pup the second chance she deserves. Madison is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption donation is $500. Meet Vader, a German shepherd mix male puppy born on April 2, 2026. This is what his owner has to say... Vader was the smallest puppy of his litter at birth but by the end of the first month, he had become the largest. This remarkable turnaround reflected his healthy development and exceptional growth. Vader is quite honestly one of the most beautiful puppies I've ever seen. His jet black coat, bright white blaze, tan markings and piercing blue eyes make him impossible to overlook. People who meet him almost always comment on his eyes first. As handsome as he is, it's his personality that really stands out. Vader is confident without being pushy, playful without being wild and affectionate without being demanding. He's happy to run and wrestle with the pack, but he is just as content relaxing beside you. He gets along exceptionally well with his siblings and adult dogs and he has a calm, easygoing temperament that makes him a pleasure to be around. Watching him grow has been incredible. He began life as the smallest puppy in the litter but quickly caught up, eventually becoming the largest by the end of his first month. That determination combined with his gentle personality has mad him one of the favorites. Finding Vader the right family won't be easy, not because he won't make an amazing companion, but because saying goodbye to him is going to be one of the hardest parts of raising this litter. We don`t know much about what my life looked like before I got here, but we`ve learned one very important thing about me:I think the world is pretty scary.I`m a very sweet dog, but I`m also extremely timid. New places, unfamiliar situations, and even going for a walk can feel overwhelming to me if I don`t trust that the person beside me knows what they`re doing.Put an inexperienced person on the other end of my leash and I may tuck my tail, put on the brakes, and decide:NOPE. WE SHOULD DEFINITELY NOT GO THAT WAY.But something interesting happens when I`m walking with a confident handler.They give me a little encouragement, keep moving forward, and show me through their own calm confidence that there`s nothing to worry about.And suddenly...I walk!Quite nicely, actually.It`s tempting when you see a frightened dog like me to crouch down, shower me with reassurance, and tell me over and over that everything is okay. But what I really need is someone who can calmly show me that it`s okay.Not someone mean.Not someone harsh.Someone confident.I need a person who can look at something I`m convinced is terrifying and communicate, `Nah, Dusty. We`re good. Come on.`And then off we go.I`m looking for an experienced dog owner who understands fearful dogs and can help me build confidence rather than accidentally reinforce my fears. With the right person guiding me, I have so much potential to discover that the world isn`t nearly as frightening as I`ve convinced myself it is.Because of my insecurities, I should not live with small children.
