Story
Bauer is a very loving and energetic 4 year old dog.He was given to us at 8 months old, and was a fully outdoor dog. He is house trained. Tried crate training did not work for us, he likes to sleep near his people. He has always been decently good with our own children and older dog but has shown some nipping towards other smaller children and our small cats so we have them separated at all times.Would do well with a friend of the same size or larger - a nice big yard and someone to walk him often/leash train him more. He is usually walked with a prong collar, does well most times but can be nippyHe can jump most fences, and always will when seeing other animals walk by which has become one of our bigger issues unfortunately - his overly exciting playfulness can appear scary due to his size.He deserves a loving home that can give the attention and training he needs and unfortunately our lifestyle changes have meant our time to train him has gotten less and less over time.

Story
Bear is a 4 year old male German Shepherd. He is absolutely stunning. He was rescued along with 39 other shepherds from animal services. They were then abandoned at a boarding facility. We stepped in and have provided a safe loving place for him and 11 others. Bear is an active boy. He would thrive in an active household. He would be an ideal walking or hiking companion. He will need a yard for playtime and hanging out. He isn't overly fond of other dogs. He has had limited interaction with cats. Caution should be exercised in regards to other dogs and cats. He does well with older children. Bear is very alert to his surroundings. He is very smart. He listens to commands and direction. He is loving and likes hanging out with his people. He will bring many years of loyalty and joy.   ##2041682##

Story
Meet Gemma!Gemma is a beautiful German Shepherd mix all the way from Kentucky, with a heart as big as her 62-pound frame. With her striking tan and black coat and bright, curious eyes, she turns heads wherever she goes-but it's her personality that truly makes her shine. This smart girl is eager to learn and already knows her basic commands. She picks up on new things quickly and loves having a job to do, whether that's mastering a new trick or chasing after her favorite toys. Gemma has a playful, fun-loving spirit and thrives in an active home that can keep both her mind and body engaged.Gemma gets along wonderfully with everyone she meets-men, women, kids, dogs, and even cats! She's a social butterfly who enjoys being part of the action and would fit in beautifully with a family looking for a loyal and affectionate companion. She's also great in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and is comfortable being handled, making her a joy to take along on adventures. She is crate trained and currently working on her house training, and with her intelligence and eagerness to please, she's sure to have it mastered in no time with consistency and routine.Gemma does have a bit of a mischievous side-she's known to be an escape artist who can jump fences and climb out of kennels without a top. Because of this, she will need a secure yard (ideally with a high fence or supervised outdoor time) and a family committed to keeping her safe. She can also be a little destructive when bored, so plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention will go a long way in helping her thrive. With her medium-to-high energy level, Gemma would do best in a home with a yard where she can run and play. Apartment living wouldn't be the right fit for her, but a home that can offer space, structure, and lots of love will see her blossom into an incredible companion.Gemma is spayed, healthy, and ready to find her forever family. If you're looking for a smart, loving, and adventurous best friend who will keep you on your toes (and steal your heart), Gemma just might be your perfect match.
