Unfortunately, she has serious aggression toward other animals. She has repeatedly attacked another dog in the home and recently attacked a cat.Because of this, there can be NO exceptions: she MUST be the ONLY animal in her new home. No dogs. No cats. No other pets.Her family has reached the heartbreaking point where, if an appropriate home cannot be found, euthanasia is being considered. 💔We are sharing her because we desperately hope there is someone out there who understands German Shepherds and is willing and able to give this girl the environment she needs to succeed.This is NOT a dog for someone who simply loves the breed and wants to give her a chance. Poor Buckeye came to us emaciated, anemic, and with a large amount of hair loss from a severe flea infestation. It took some time for us to get Buckeye back on track medically, and it took him a little bit to feel more like himself again, but Buckeye is finally feeling all better, and even though he's a senior, he's looking for a fresh start! Buckeye has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
