Story
This handsome boy is a 4 year old German Shepherd with a big heart. He is very obedient, loyal, and protective. Loves being outside, going on walks, playing ball, and running free in a fenced yard. He’s a big baby who loves to cuddle. He does best in a home with teens or older children. He has never been aggressive but has shown discomfort when approached by younger kids, so we feel a child-free or older-child home is best. He is trained on an electric collar and responds well to commands. This is a heartbreaking decision, but we want what’s safest and best for both him and our family. Looking for a responsible, loving home where he can thrive.

Story
Renee is a 9-month-old German Shepherd/Pit Bull mix who has quickly become one of our absolute favorites here at the shelter — and it’s easy to see why! This girl is the full package: highly intelligent, full of energy, and incredibly eager to learn. She catches on to new commands quickly and thrives with mental stimulation and structure. Renee loves to hike, run, and explore — she’s always up for an adventure! Renee would make an amazing companion for an active person or family who’s ready to match her energy and continue her training. She’s the kind of dog who will be your ride-or-die adventure buddy, your hiking pal, and your loyal best friend all in one.

Story
Pepe was rescued from a situation where he was crated with an unknown number of other Shepards. He is a sweet boy but can also be quite vocal. He is very loyal, and very protective. He gets along best with women, but takes a little time to get used to men. He loves his belly rubbed, and also to lay across the entire hallway when sleeping. He’s not much of a cuddler but is also quite clingy when he wants to be. He’s is approximately 6 years old, and has not had any major medical concerns as of date.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I am Calvin, Cal for short. I am a big goofy gentle giant of  6 years and 102 pounds, I came into Roses Rescue because my original family, although they loved me, couldn't care for me anymore. I am allergic to poultry and corn - they give me ear infections. So I have been put on a food where salmon is the main protein. It is delicious!!! I have been getting a squirt of salmon oil on my food, too, It is going to help my coat get soft and shiny.. My two favorite things in the world are being around people and playing fetch. I will bring my toy to you and drop it at your feet for you to throw again and again and again. I an not at all fond of cats, but I get along great with other dogs. Right now my best pal is a little Frenchie. We run around the back yard together. I love playing with kids, too, but, because of my size they need to be older kids. I don't want to accidentally knock anyone over.  I need a fenced in yard because that is what I am used to. I do not have a lot of experience on a leash or getting in and out of a car. I am crate trained and potty trained. Do you have room in your heart and home for this big ol' lover boy? I have lots of room in my heart for YOU. I am truly a gentle giant. Lets meet!   Fenced yard and German shepherd experience/knowledge preferred please.
