Zara joined our family at 8 weeks old after we adopted her from our local APL, where she was already spayed. At the time, my job allowed me to bring her to work with me, so she grew up very well socialized and comfortable around people from a young age. She has always been surrounded by family and companionship. Zara is a German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix—smart, loyal, and high energy. She loves being around her people and does best with structure and purpose. She has lived with cats and has never been aggressive toward them, though her herding instincts do cause her to chase and fixate on them at times. Zara is the only dog in our home but has done well with other dogs in the past. She previously spent time around multiple dogs and generally got along well, though she does best with calm, structured dogs and proper introductions. She loves walks, activity, and having a job. Zara was trained through Sit Means Sit and knows commands as heel, sit, wait, paw, roll over, and go.

Rock is a young very energetic dog. He is a great guard dog. He will let you know if anybody is on your property that shouldn’t be there he’ll bark, but he’ll never bite. He’s a barker not a biter. He’s a family dog. He’s grown up around my other dog who is four years old and they get along great. Rocky goes for about four walks a day. With about every other day, he goes to the field and runs. I would love for Rock to go to a family or to maybe like a farm where he could run and have a lot of freedom. I got Rocky when he was only a few weeks old, he was a rescued dog. He has a chip and he is neutered. I think wherever Rocky goes he might be uncomfortable the first day or two, but once he gets to knows the the person or family adopting him he’ll fit right in. He’s coming from a very loving home. I’m moving out of state in the city. I’m moving to German shepherds are not allowed so I’m hoping I can find a nice home for him. He is about between 40 to 60 pounds he’s tall and a goofy dog.

Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Scooter is a 3-year-old Beagle/Shepherd mix weighing 47 pounds who is looking for his forever family. This sweet boy came to the rescue very underweight, and thanks to lots of care and good meals, he’s slowly gaining weight and starting to come out of his shell. Scooter already knows how to sit and is eager to keep learning, especially if toys or treats are involved! He walks nicely on a leash and is working on his potty-training. He loves playing with toys, happily chewing on bones, and then winding down for some quality cuddle time. One of his favorite things is simply being part of the family—he wants to be included in whatever you’re doing, whether that’s playtime or a cozy night on the couch. Scooter gets along well with other dogs but has not met children yet. He is currently very curious about the cats in his foster home and is learning how to co-exist with them peacefully. Affectionate, loyal, and full of love, Scooter is a snuggler at heart who’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to grow, feel safe, and be cherished. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will fill your home with love, Scooter might just be your perfect match. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training, & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. MBR Farm is offering ONE Free Private Training session for dogs adopted from us in the month of March. That is a $125 value. Any additional session will be discounted to $80 per private session for an unlimited amount of sessions. No limit, no time limit. Your first session must be completed before May 1, 2026. After May 1st the cost of your first session will be a discounted rate of $100.
