She`ll give a paw or two for cookies. She loves everyone she meets and shes easy on the eyes.So what`s the catch? Why do dogs like Kona get overlooked?With great personality comes quirks sometimes. For Kona, it`s resource guarding. Simply put, in the past when she has decided something is hers... she has defended her ownership of it fiercely. Moose is an adorable 8-month-old German Shepherd who is looking for a family of his very own! This sweet boy is understandably a little nervous in the shelter, but we’re giving him the time and space he needs to settle in and show us his true personality. He seems to LOVE people and enjoys going out on his walks! Moose arrived with Manny, but these boys will need to be adopted separately so Moose can have the opportunity to grow and thrive as his own dog. Moose is currently awaiting his behavioral evaluation, so we’re still learning more about how he feels about other dogs, cats, kids, and all the other things that come with being a family dog. As we learn more about him, we’ll update his profile! German Shepherd experience preferred, but not mandatory. German Shepherds are intelligent, active working dogs who thrive when they have a job to do! Moose will need daily physical and mental enrichment, plenty of stimulation, and continued training to help him grow into a happy, well-rounded adult dog.
