Angus's Adoption fee has been lovingly sponsored , ??Thank You Christine ??Angus has never had a single adopter intersted in him, he's just falling between the cracks of the shelter system. Soon he will be one of the long term residents who never receive a second glance .180 days have passed since this boy was left behind in Moosic and nobody ever called regarding his absence. He was just another left behind animal in a sea of others who has no sense of past and no hope for future .We have enough hope for all of them .Angus is a 5 year old shepherd mix . He's quirky and cute , a gorgeous brindle color and not overly large .Hes tested selective with other dogs and we will do a meet and greet with an approved application .You can apply to meet Angus and give him a chance at a forever family by applying here : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogsYou won't know until you try ??

Story
Lambchop was named after she was found in a desolate area carrying her stuffed toy. She is approximately a year old and was already spayed. No one has come forward to claim this girl so she is now available for adoption. We are overwhelmed by the compassion and love that has been shown regarding this sweet girl and are humbled by the calls and messages we receive regarding her well-being ??We don't know much about her , as that takes time to put the pieces together but she is very sweet. She doesn't appear to mind other dogs but we always do a personal meet with family dogs following an approved application. She weighs 58 pounds and appears to be fully grown. We have her listed as a shepherd mix.She will be cat tested soon.Lambchop has a very special sponsor who asked to sponsor her adoption fees in hopes that she will find the best forever family quickly .?Thank you Nichole Blue ?If you would like to meet LambChop, please apply here : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogs

Story
Athena is a wonderful, young gal, but a bit timid meeting new people. She is just over a year old and just over 55 lbs. She loves her people, in no time at all, but we prefer no really young kids with most of our dogs. GSD experience is a must and a fenced yard is very important. Great with dogs and we can cat test. Athena is just such a great dog in need of a great home - so much prettier in person. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure.  (IF YOU DO NOT GET A REPLY EMAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS, CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX AND SEND US YOUR PHONE NUMBER, FOR WE REPLY EVERY FEW HOURS TO EMAILS) PREGNANT DOG RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility, specializing in pregnant dogs, moms with newborns, and small or medium adult dogs (we take in pregnant dogs, we do not adopt out pregnant dogs).  We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions!  (We often have puppies and moms not listed on the site, for they might be too young at the moment to list, so please, contact us to be sure of our available pups!)  We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. PREGNANT DOG And ALL BREED RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER puppies are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health. Our Puppies are current on vaccines, wormed, and extremely well cared for from birth - most even know how to use a dog door by the time they leave us!  They are friendly and social and very affectionate!  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! PDR/LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home.  Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile.  We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm and Lyme tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $595 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)  April 18, 2024, 6:00 pm

Story
Robert is wonderful. He is about 1.5 years old and already close to 80 lbs. He is sweet and gentle, yet very playful and goofy, when in the yard. He listens well and is eager to please. We prefer GSD experience and a fenced yard, with no really small kids, for that is best for a big guy like this. He is great with everyone he meets and with other dogs, and we can cat test. Robert is truly awesome and will make a great family companion. A must meet, for he steal your heart for sure. Story
Ryker is the sweetest 6 month old puppy, who is about 45 lbs and had to have his front left leg removed. Both the "breeder" and their vet really missed the issue, when the dog presented with a huge swollen leg. Leg could have been saved, but huge mistakes were made and he ended up having to lose the leg. Kinda sad really, but he is doing great and is getting around like a champ now. He is smart and a typical, eager to please, GSD puppy. He loves his crate and is perfectly housebroken. A fenced yard and GSD experience is a must, and if you have tripod experience, well, even better. He LOVES other dogs and is fine with cats and kids, but we will not put him around really young kids (they can trip him too easily). A must meet, for this wonderful, handsome boy will steal your heart for sure. He is incredible and just an awesome puppy.
