We found Mable walking on the side of the road, one cold rainy night in November. We are looking to rehome her because she is too large for our house with our 4 cats. She does good with the cats. She wants to play with them but they want nothing to do with her. When we take her on walks, she seems interested in some dogs and not others. We have not tested her with other dogs. We think she's about 5 years old. She very loveable and likes being the center of attention. She loves sleeping in bed with us and lying with us on the couch. She would need an owner that is a runner or active. She loves to be chased in the backyard or playing defender for me while I practice hockey in the garage. While she is not spayed, we are willing to help with the process if the new owner would like it done.

Story
Freja is an approximately 1.5-2 year old female German Shepherd in search of a loving, single-dog home. She was rescued from an abandonment situation, and since then we have gotten her back up to a healthy weight in a safe environment.She knows and responds well to many common commands (sit, lay down, "crate", etc) and is receptive to new training and situations; we have been meeting weekly with a dog trainer to further her abilities. She is currently living in the same house as another dog, but she is not dog-socialised and should ideally be the only dog in the home. We are still working on her dog reactivity but at the moment she does not know how to properly interact with her fellow canine companions.Freja comes with a crate, toys, loads of energy, and even more love.

Trixie is the most wonderful family companion, and came back to us after about 5 months, as the situation changed, and they had to bring her back. She is 2 years old at most, and 65 lbs of awesome. If you like this breed and have GSD experience, this is your girl. She is great with dogs and people, but might try to chase your cat. She is smart and social and knows commands and will off leash train with ease. She is so pretty in person and just the right size. Trixie listens well and is eager to please. This girl was much loved and well cared for, but sadly, her family had to let her go. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure...  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home.
