Story
Freja is an approximately 1.5 year old female (intact) German Shepherd in search of a loving, single-dog home. She was rescued from an abandonment situation, and while we have gotten her well-fed and loved since rescuing her she still requires patience and further training. She knows and responds well to many common commands (sit, lay down, "crate", etc) and is receptive to new training and situations. She is currently in a foster home with another dog, but she is not dog-socialised and should ideally be the only dog in the home. Freja comes with a crate, toys, loads of energy, and even more love.

Hello, my name is Hiccup. I was named after How To Train Your Dragon. I am a pure bred. My birthday is March 28, 2023. I am a Make a Wish puppy. I am very energetic. I love to play ball and I am a sucker to chase a laser pointer. I am a great guard dog to my current family. I have done some training. I know sit, down, place, wait, leave it, take and paw. When its time for dinner. I am told Avengers assemble and I will sit next to bowl till Im told to yes, take it. I am crate trained and do sleep in my crate at night. I am not too good with cats. I think they are toys and get too rough Im told. I love car rides. I walk on a gentle lead with some pulling at first. I do need some more training. I come with my crate, toys, bathing needs, food, and food stand. Everything my current owner has if you need. I am a handsome, sweet love bug. I need to be rehomed due to health issues with my family. They cant give me the exercise I so need.

She`ll give a paw or two for cookies. She loves everyone she meets and shes easy on the eyes.So what`s the catch? Why do dogs like Kona get overlooked?With great personality comes quirks sometimes. For Kona, it`s resource guarding. Simply put, in the past when she has decided something is hers... she has defended her ownership of it fiercely. Someone who has experience with canine resource guarding or can provide training for her would be of most benefit to her in a new home.Please give Kona the chance she deserves.
