Oliver was found by Columbia Animal Services on 2/1/24. He is believed to be about 4 years old weighing just under 80lbs and was neutered at the shelter on 2/9/24. Columbia Animal Services shelter is running at almost max capacity frequently and dogs that do not get adopted out risk euthanasia at the shelter. We are currently fostering Oliver to get him out of that environment. Oliver is very smart, he knows commands like sit, lay-down, shake, stay. He is house trained and has not needed to be crated when we are not home. He gets along well (for the most part) with our 2 dogs. He is also amazing with our 9yo son. They bonded immediately and Oliver follows him everywhere and sleeps in his room.

He wants to be friends with every person he meets - and he will let them know, enthusiastically! He is very smart and eager to please his people, but can be a little stubborn. He seems to be hard of hearing and responds best to visual cues.Foggys favorite activities include: • Pretty much all activities, all toys, preferably with his human there. • Helping his human complete tasks. He loves to supervise while you handyman. • Parkouring on his leash if something looks exciting. • Playing tug-of-war, fetch, not giving the ball back, treasure hunting, working through an entire toy basket. • Booty scritches! More about Foggy: • Does not understand dog play etiquette and needs long/slow introductions to new dogs (more for the humans comfort) and he would thrive best co-existing with a enthusiastic female dog with few boundaries. • Strong boy but walks well in a low stimuli environment. Needs to continue to work on focusing on his human. • Loves people - older kids included! • Medium energy and very manageable - his foster has lots of tips for what keeps Foggy occupied occupied • Still has some puppy mouthiness but this is easily managed with his favorite toys• Might be the best car rider ever • Crate trained and house broken • Did I mention he loves toys? Ideally the kinds that stand up to tough jawsContact my foster to meet me!

No car sickness.LOVES to cuddle, whether on the couch or in bed. Likes to hang out under your feet while you cook or work (if he can`t be near your lap). Has a good sense of his size and prefers a lean as opposed to a full overtaking of your lap.Meeting people is his FAVORITE! He is a friend to everyone he meets and enjoys curling right up with new friends.Very friendly with other dogs and prefers dogs who like to PLAY! Can get mouthy when he plays, but takes redirection/feedback really well. He`s naive and well-meaning, but has a good amount of energy.Has a little bit of separation anxiety when left alone & can get mischievous. Does better in the crate, although he may cry a bit for the first 5-10 minutes. Could be an issue for apartments with thin/shared walls.Will steal from the counter -- keep things out of reach!Is a very patient beggar when it comes to watching you eat -- doesn`t steal or interrupt, but will watch you patiently!Is working to put on weight and would prefer a late-night meal to help keep his stomach from getting empty (may throw up bile if not fed often enough).

( Since these pictures have been taken she has gained weight) Needs tender loving care
