Story
Meet Jethro! Location: Columbia, SC (foster) Two years old. Mixed breed. Former “longest resident” turned hidden gem. Jethro is fully vetted, potty trained, crate trained and settling beautifully into home life. He is dog friendly with proper introductions and tends to vibe best with the ladies. He is the kind of guy who appreciates a respectful circle and a calm introduction before showing you just how sweet and goofy he can be! Leash manners are still a work in progress but he is eager to learn and very motivated. The potential here is huge and the foundation is already laid. Jethro is not loud about who he is. He does not demand attention. He just quietly hopes someone will finally choose him. He has done his waiting. Now he is ready for his forever.

Story
This very sweet 2 year old husky mix will steal your heart with one look into his eyes.  Lovo has lived his 2 short years outside and it shows, but we are healing his body and soul one belly rub at a time. He currently weighs 67 pounds, but should weigh about 75 pounds. He loves to eat so it should not take long to reach his goal weight. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Lovo is learning that crates aren’t so bad and that singing is only for special occasions. He’s been kept on a schedule and has had no accidents (so far) in his foster home. He loves other dogs and would love to have one to play with between belly rubs.   If you are interested in adopting Lovo, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.   **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **  March 7, 2026, 10:27 pm

Story
Senshi is a beautiful young solid black,  1-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix with a big personality packed into a perfectly portable, 45-pound package. This smart, energetic girl is the definition of fun- playful, affectionate, and always ready for her next adventure. With her classic German Shepherd smarts and high food drive, Senshi is eager to learn and loves having a job to do. She is already learning sit, stay, and down, is house-trained, and (tries very hard to) not jump up. She’d thrive with someone who can give her a job to do, whether that's training, hiking, or even dog sports- she’s got the drive and enthusiasm to be an amazing partner. Senshi absolutely loves toys, playtime, and anything involving treats. Whether it’s a game of fetch or exploring the outdoors, she’s happiest when she’s active and engaged. Senshi would do best as the only dog in the home, as she can be a bit possessive with toys around other dogs. She can tolerate cats, though she may be a bit too playful for them at times. Due to her energy level and enthusiasm, she’d be best suited for a home without young children. but over 10 years of age would be find. Her ideal home would be with an active single person or couple who’s looking for a loyal companion to share adventures, hikes, and everyday life with. In return, Senshi will give you endless love, loyalty, and a whole lot of fun. If you’re looking for a smart, energetic best friend who’s always up for an adventure, Senshi might just be your perfect match!   If you are interested, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 20, 2026, 1:12 pm

Story
Alexis is a stunning, purebred German Shepherd with a loyal heart and so much love left to give. She has been cherished since she was a young puppy by a devoted dad who is now facing one of the hardest decisions of his life. Due to serious health challenges and a move closer to medical care, he can no longer keep his beloved girls—and he is absolutely heartbroken. At Critter Cavalry Rescue, we made him a promise: Alexis will find a safe, loving home where she can thrive and be treasured just as she deserves. Alexis is a beautiful girl who could benefit from losing about 20 pounds, and she’s ready for a fresh start filled with healthy routines and fun activity. She’s smart, affectionate, and enjoys both playtime and relaxing at home with her people. She has lived with children and other dogs and does wonderfully—but she will need a cat-free home. She especially loves playing with her Blue Heeler sister, Sassy, and has been a constant, loyal companion. Now it’s her turn to find a family who will give her the same unconditional love she has always given. Alexis is ready for her next chapter—a life filled with walks, companionship, and a family who will keep the promise we made to her dad: that she will always be safe, loved, and secure.   If you feel that pull in your heart, please reach out.   Email: ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Be sure to include your city and state when inquiring.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 20, 2026, 1:12 pm

Story
Introducing Sadie, a gorgeous Shepherd mix girl born around 12/14/2025. This beautiful little girl is so charming, smart, playful, and cuddly. Basically she’s the full Puppy package. Sadie absolutely loves everybody. She enjoys cuddling up on the couch and watching TV with her family, exploring the outdoors, enjoys her car rides, and recently discovered her love for Pup Cups. She is an active little girl, and has been getting along great with all of her foster brothers and sisters in her home. They all love to chase each other, wrestle, and have their own strange version of tag. Sadie also enjoys puppy toys, her favorite being whatever someone else has and all shoe laces. She has gotten a great start on her puppy training. She has been working on her crate and house training. It helps that she absolutely adores treats! To continue this road of excellence, she will need a family who has time, patience, and love to continue on with it. We believe she will grow to be around 50 pounds when she grows up. Sadie is current on her vaccines. Her future spay and microchip will be covered with her adoption fee. To inquire about this very special girl, please email adopt@carolinapaws.com.
