Hello! My name is Moose. I love being outdoors, playing fetch, and protecting my family. I grew up with my dog mom, who loves me very much. This year, I have gone through a lot of changes. My dog mom has to relocate for a job opportunity, and cannot take me with her. I will miss her very much. I do well with kids, even infants! My dog girlfriend's mom had a baby last year and I got the chance to spend a lot of time with him. I do well with other dogs after I get to know them. Preferably girl dogs, for some reason. I have a lot of energy, and because of that I like ample time outside. I'd love to be with a family that has a good amount of backyard space so I can soak up the sun and play. I require a lot of attention and I love cuddling and loving on my family. Sometimes I might greet you by placing my paws on your chest or shoulders, so I am sorry in advance if that might disturb you. I can certainly work on that. :)

Perla (Pearl) is a 4 year old spayed German Shepherd mix pyrenees. She was born in the beginning of March 2019. She is a very sweet and smart dog that needs more attention than we can give her at the moment. She loves to explore and knows how to relax. She is good with kids (toddlers 3yrs and up), other dogs and cats (curious about them but doesn't bother them). She has also been around sheep and doesn't bother them. Meet Casanova!Casanova (Cas for short!) is a young, sweet and adventurous boy that loves everyone! He is dog friendly and great with kids! He is looking for an active family and would love a doggie playmate! He would do best with older kids that can help reinforce his training. (He could also do well with younger kids that know how to interact with large dogs.) Cas is treat motivated and a quick learner, so training him could be a lot of fun! He is super-fast, and it would be amazing if he had someone to teach him how to play ball! He has lots of energy and needs help to learn not to pull on the leash. Staff and volunteers are working with him daily on his leash training and being gentle. He would love a big yard to run around in and stretch his legs! He does like to mark (mainly outdoors) and will need some help reinforcing his house training. Casanova is a wonderful dog that will make a great addition to your family! Um...hi.....I am.....Maggie....I was brought to Apollo after I was being surrendered to a shelter near the Rio Grande to be euthanized. A Good Samaritan stepped in to save me and asked for Apollo Support & Rescue's help. Apollo took me to the vet and they found out that I was shot multiple times with a shotgun. I have recovered pretty well, but I do have permanent nerve damage in my back end which causes incontinence of the bladder and bowels ( I want to hold my pee and poop but my body just doesn't let me). I am a very sweet girl, who is super dog friendly, playful, but also gentle. I get along with cats, only because they scare me. I am a volunteer favorite at the rescue and I often requests tummy rubs! Right now, I am in a foster home with seven other dogs and three cats. It's crazy here!! It is a little much for me, I am shy, submissive and I prefer you to give me all your attention. I am not able to go on long walks, my hips start hurting and it looks like I am doing the pee-pee dance. I tend to hold a leg up to release the pressure of my legs, but I am very loving, timid, and I am scared you are going to be angry with me. Rooster was at a foster home and was doing great. He spent several months were he socialized with other dogs and cats. He likes older children and is very playful. Rooster is at the facility now practicing his leash walking (doing great), socializing with more people and just having fun until he gets his forever family. Pictures don't do him justice. He is tall and slender and has the sweetest smile. Rooster is very gentle and likes to cuddle. He has warmed up to strangers pretty fast.
