Shay is a wonderful young dog that craves affection and company. She was found as a stray so we have no medical background. She appears very healthy with no medical issues found. She is very active, however she is good on a leash and is crate trained. She does like to jump up so she needs some training. NOTE: The shelter's budget does NOT cover vet exams for these animals. Over the years, she's completed several training programs--passing each with flying colors! . To support her in her next chapter, Happy Gentle Dogs will provide a complimentary Board & Train before adoption, along with a smooth, hands-on transfer and follow-up support to set everyone up for success. Ive been taking care of him since except, he is high maintenance and doesn’t like to listen, although that might be on my own training skills.. Rosie is a two-year-old 55 pound female, spayed, who is heartworm positive and currently on doxycyline. She is very sweet and affectionate. When I come near her she rolls on her side for belly rubs. I cannot keep Rosie because my dog doesn't want another dog in the house or yard. He barks at her and is agressive. Now they are separated, but I'm worried that they will come together at some point and have a violent fight. She is schedule for an injection for heartworm on June 5 and must be kept quiet for about 6 weeks, i.e. she will not be allowed to run around and play. Rosie would be a great companion and friend to anyone who loves dogs.
