Hi, I’m Reno — your soon-to-be favorite weirdo. I’m a quirky, affectionate pup with a big heart and a slightly awkward charm that really grows on you (like one of those novelty plants, but furrier and way more fun to hang out with). I love the idea of long walks… I just haven’t totally figured out how to walk like a dog should yet. I’m still building confidence on the leash, especially outside the shelter — new sights and sounds can be a little overwhelming, but with time and encouragement, I know I’ll get there! I’m also working on my manners, like how to be polite indoors and settle into a home routine. With a proper introduction, I’d actually prefer to go home with a confident dog buddy — someone who can show me the ropes and help me feel more secure. My history with cats is a mystery, but I’m open to polite, supervised introductions.I’d be happiest in a home with older kids who understand I’m still learning and may need a little patience as I figure things out. I’ll also be heading home with a calming supplement to help me settle in smoothly. Most of all, I’d love a safe, quiet space to call my own — a cozy corner where I can relax, feel secure, and truly be myself. If you’re looking for a lovable oddball with a heart of gold and lots of potential, I might just be your perfect match. Meet Willow! Willow is A 12-Year-Old, 3-Footed German Shepherd Looking for Her Retirement Home. This sweet senior girl was surrendered to a local shelter alongside her 14-year-old sister. Heartbreakingly, her sister was adopted, and Willow was left behind. That's when we saw Willow was in need of some extra tender loving care and a place to go. Despite her rough luck, Willow’s spirit hasn’t dimmed. She’s gentle, obedient, and incredibly low-maintenance. She’s fully potty trained, kennel trained, and just wants a soft bed, good snacks, and a person to love her. She has had 3 feet since birth and it doesn’t hold her back! Willow is currently working on shedding a few pounds with a healthy diet and will also be finishing her heartworm treatment in a couple of weeks. Willow enjoys a peaceful environment and would do best as the only pet in her home. She prefers a quiet and calm environment. She does live with other dogs in her foster home, but she really would do best with her own space. She’s a slow, easygoing gal who’s perfectly content to spend her golden years snoozing by your side. Cricket can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she absolutely blossoms—offering the sweetest hugs and soaking up affection like a pro. She’s currently working on potty training and gaining confidence each day in her foster home. She would thrive with a patient, understanding family willing to continue her training and help her build trust at her own pace. Older children who can respect her space will be the best match for her gentle nature. Cricket was dumped at a vet's office as a young pup, but her future is already looking brighter. She was born on February 13, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. Now she’s ready to find her forever family who will show her what love truly means. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee for this pet is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee (varies by location).
