Animal Services has new operating hours! We will now be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and closed Friday through Sunday. In addition to these hours, we will be available after-hours, including Fridays and Saturdays, by appointment. Candi is a fun loving, playful, active Shepherd mix, who is fully vetted, HW neg and microchipped. Though she does get along with most dogs, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only fur baby, receiving all the attention. Candi is house broken, but as far as being crated...she prefers to not be confined, so we don't currently crate her. Candi loves to go for walks, though she is very strong and wants to lead! She needs a strong hand and leash training. She's a smart girl, and has learned to open the back door at her foster home. If there is another dog in the home, Candi needs to be fed separately, as she will protect and scuffle over her meal! She hates being alone, so another easy going dog or a family who is home most of the time, would be ideal for Candi. Speaker - 3 - owner surrender for can't afford. Every time I've gone by, he's sitting quietly in his kennel. He stays right by you on leash and never pulls. Nice sit and gentle taking treats. He was also a little picky with his snacks. Milkbones are a no as were other types of hard snacks. He was a fan of peanut butter soft treats and chicken jerky. You can tell this sweet guy doesn't understand why he's at the shelter.
