Echo was rescued from living in a hotel. His owner is not able to care for him any longer. He is adjusting beautifully to being in a home with other dogs and having plenty of space to play. Echo does seem to have some separation anxiety. I kennel him when I have to leave for 3-4 hours. More than that and I gate him off in the garage. He chews on things if I leave him in the house when I am away. He does stay in the house at night with no chewing.Echo is: - a loving, happy boy that loves to play, run and get chased by his foster sisters- learning his manners quickly- potty-trained when he was in the hotel, he uses doggy doors for the two weeks with me, new family will need to familiarize him with signaling he needs to go out- great at taking walks with our older dog, he is still learning to slow down and not pull- very affectionate and loves to be close to his human whenever possible- needs to find a home without cats, he chases them- approx. one year old

We suspect she may have been used for breeding, and signs suggest she recently had a litter of puppies. Just a baby herself, already having to be a mama. 🥺 Thankfully, Aspen made it out alive and into a loving foster home, where she’s discovering what life is supposed to be like! And this girl has quite the personality! 😂💕 🌸 A little about our sweet Aspen: 💕 Professional shadow — loves following her humans from room to room! ☀️ Sunbathing queen — happiest soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the outdoors! 🧀 CHEESE OBSESSED! — she’s picky about her treats, but bring out the cheese and suddenly she’s willing to negotiate anything! 😂 🐝 Aspiring bug catcher — currently on a mission to catch every flying insect in the yard. She hasn’t quite built up the confidence to start playing with them yet, but she’s taking things at her own pace. 🦮 Enjoying walks! — she’s been getting out and exploring the world with her foster family! ❤️ Sweet and affectionate — she genuinely wants love and attention from her people! But we also want to be transparent about Aspen. She’s only been out of the shelter for a short time and is still decompressing and learning to trust her new surroundings. Her foster has noticed some occasional defensive reactions, and we’re still figuring out what makes her uncomfortable. Being asked to enter her crate is one situation she struggles with, although she settles beautifully once inside. We’re continuing to learn her triggers, respect her boundaries and help her build confidence. She’ll need an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to work with her using patient, positive training. ❤️ And while she’s doing well around the other dogs in her foster home, she’s not quite ready to let loose and play just yet. That’s okay! Every little step forward is a victory, and we’re letting Aspen set the pace. Aspen doesn’t need someone expecting a perfectly trained dog. She needs someone who understands that she may never have had the opportunity to simply be a loved family pet. Someone who will show her that soft beds are for sleeping, toys are for playing, meals will always come, and people can be trusted. And maybe someone willing to share a little cheese. 🧀😂 At only one year old, Aspen has SO much life ahead of her. She’s already been a mama. She’s already faced a euthanasia list.
