Story
Kru is our beloved and gentle best friend. He loves his toys and enjoys leash walks and hiking through trails and traveling in the mountains. He is the sweetest boy with kids and enjoys playing with new dog friends. He can be very vocal but only barks when he’s being protective. He is 7 1/2 years old. My wife and I are relocating out of the country and are looking for a great new home for him to live his best life.

Story
Watson is our alpha. He loves having a job and will always be the first one to greet you and walk you where ever you go. He loves to roll logs and play fetch (even though he needs a little encouragement to bring it back). Watson is addicted to belly rubs. He loves a trail run and is always game for a new adventure. He is 7 1/2 years old. We are relocating out of the country and need to find a great home for Watson to live his best life for the rest of his years.

Story
We got Charles when he was about 3 months old (He is 4 years now). The family we got him from were not experienced dog breeders so we think he was poorly taken care of after birth. He took to my wife and I really fast but we noticed he was already aggressive to strangers. We took him to special training after getting his puppy shots taken care of. They let us know he was already showing signs of aggression and that we should give him back if we could. We took him to training pretty regularly for around 4-5 months. Scent, command, leash training, shock collar training. Hes a very smart dog and took well to all the training. But the aggression wad still there. We were able to make him comfortable with both of our families and he's a good boy when he's familiar with everyone around. Next year we're planning to start our family and will have babies in the house. Despite the work we've put in we can't take any chances, but would like to find him an experienced dog owner.

Story
REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER:Gentle, loving and caring. Best in a home with someone that is there most of the time. Enjoys being outside. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Sweet Athena is nervous here; the sooner she can find a home, the better. She would appreciate a relatively quiet home with older, dog-savvy children. It takes her a moment to warm up to you and once she does, she will stick to you like glue! She has a medium energy level and is gentle when taking treats. She’s very scared of cats and neutral toward the other dogs here at the shelter. Weighs 73 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
I hope you're having a great day! I've got some exciting news to share with you, but before that, did you know that German Shepherd Dogs were the first guide dogs in the 1920s? And the best part is, my half-siblings are still a popular choice today! Being part of this legacy has been an amazing experience, and I'm looking forward to starting a new chapter with you. I can't wait to spend some quality time with you in the near future. Just imagine the fun we'll have on our daily walks, playing catch on a sunny Sunday afternoon, or simply enjoying the outdoors. I promise to be your faithful companion every step of the way, and I'm not just saying that because I'm an excellent buddy. I've got a charming personality, and I'm devilishly handsome with a lush coat that craves daily brushing! I understand that life can sometimes be lonely, but I'm here to keep you company with my cuddles and hugs. I know what it feels like to be alone - I was just recently living on the streets all by myself. But now I'm ready and willing to be your best friend. And if you're looking for a new human friend, then you're in luck! With my good looks, I'll make the perfect wingman by making new friends for you wherever we go. People can't resist my soft, gentle brown eyes, and I just love making new friends. I've had my share of ups and downs, but I'm excited to start a new journey with you. One day, I got separated from my previous family and lost my way. It was a challenging time, but I was fortunate enough to make many friends along the way. I played with children, walked with moms and babies, hung out with teenagers, and even shared lunch with construction workers. The neighbors were kind enough to invite me over for dinner, and lay cozy beds on their front porches for me to sleep at night. I felt loved and cared for.    I'm ready to get back to work and make your life better. So let's make some unforgettable memories together! Fill out my application and bring me home today. Time is ticking, and I don't want to miss out on any of the amazing adventures that we'll have together. I'm 10 years old, HW- and vaccines up-to-date, and I can't wait to start a new chapter with you! ##2039507##

Story
Say hello to Junior!  He is incredibly sweet and smart.  This adorable boy can be a little shy at first, but once he opens up you will feel all the love he has to give.  Junior has learned a few tricks and if you have a yummy treat he will be glad to show them to you.  Our adorable boy is also crate traned (not his favorite place as he loves to be part of the action, but will sleep very well in it).  This smart boy is also leash train and does very well in the car.  He will be an incredible fit for any family.    Why adopt from Texas? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future. An opportunity to be loved and cared for by good and loving families. There is a reason why we make the trip to your area every two weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Canada (Canadian adopters will meet us in Bellingham, WA). We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.   Our adoption fee includes transport and a Health Certificate from a local vet to certify your new pet is clear to travel accross state lines. If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to www.springbranchrescue.org ##1451332##
