Story
We got Toothless as a puppy from a breeder in Virginia in 2018 (she's 7 years old now). Over the next couple years we trained her (house training, crate training, basic commands, walking). She's motivated by both attention and treats, either one works for training. She's used to spending the day outdoors in the yard and spending nights in her crate. We tried to get her to have a litter of puppies, but she is strongly against mating. She's a great guard dog for the house and has protected the family from a dog attack. She's high energy and loves to run with other dogs and play frisbee. Walks and playtime are a must with her or she will turn destructive (digging, toy shredding). As much as the family cherishes her, our housing situation is going to change soon and we won't be able to take Toothless with us. We would like to find her a new home with a loving owner(s) who can handle a high-energy dog.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites. DAVINA is a sweet girl who has a shepherd mix momma and mystery dad.    She is a nice girl who is learning how to live in a house.  She would make someone a nice walking/hiking companion!  She still needs continued training and a fairly active family who knows what a lifelong commitment  is.   A securely fenced yard is mandatory for this girl. Our dogs are neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH .    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 30, 2024, 4:59 pm
