Story
Leia, here; happy to meet you! I have had A LOT of changes in my life recently, so I’m looking for a nice, stable, permanent home to spend my forever in. I would love to live with someone who is home most of the time, and I’d love to have a yard to run and play around in. I’ve lived with other dogs, and have done great with slow introductions. I do chase bunnies and squirrels, so little critters might not make the best room mates for me (e.g. cats). I ADORE children - I was a doggo nanny in my previous home. I’m just looking to spend my retirement with my BFF, who I will love with all heart. Love, LeiaWEIGHT: 67 pounds

Story
Lone Ranger is a lovable German Shepherd who will forever be a giant puppy at heart! With his sweet personality and endless energy, he’s ready to bring joy and love to any home. While Lone Ranger has special needs due to hip dysplasia and swimmer’s syndrome, he doesn’t let that slow him down. He loves to try to play, though he may tire out faster after long walks as his legs become weak. His playful spirit is truly contagious, but it's important to note that he may need breaks to rest. Lone Ranger would do best in a home with older children, as his size and wobbly movements can be a bit much for younger ones. He’s very strong and a giant bundle of puppy energy! Although he can be a little mouthy, using his mouth to communicate, he is not aggressive and never tries to bite. He’s also okay with cats, but he might get a bit too enthusiastic and “in their face” while trying to play, so the cats will need to be tolerant of his playful nature. Lone Ranger gets along well with other dogs, but since he's still learning how to communicate with them, he can sometimes be a bit much. Having spent the first few months of his life locked in a crate, the crate is no longer his safe space, and he’ll need patience and encouragement to relearn that it’s okay. At the end of the day, Lone Ranger is a cuddly, loving dog who craves attention and affection. He would love nothing more than to snuggle up with his people after a fun play session. If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic, and affectionate companion who will bring so much love into your life, Lone Ranger might just be the perfect fit. Come meet him today and let him show you what a special pup he truly is! All of our animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm tested, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Story
9.5 months old (estimated) Neutered male 35 lbs. Looking for a home without cats or young children Has been selective with other dogs QBert is a high-energy, intelligent young pup who absolutely loves people and is eager to please. He’s a fast learner who thrives with structure, mental stimulation, and consistent training—he already knows commands like sit, wait, down, chase, and retrieve! QBert would do best in a home without young children or cats and may prefer to be the only dog, as he can be selective with other dogs and is still working on toy possessiveness. With the right person who can give him the time and guidance he needs, QBert will be an incredibly rewarding and loyal companion. QBert has been waiting a while to find his family so his adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take him home! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.April 8, 2025, 3:49 pm
