Highly affectionate and people-driven, she thrives on human companionship and loves nothing more than being snuggly by your side. She cherishes her humans and forms deep, loyal bonds with them. She has excellent recall and a solid foundation in basic obedience, making her both responsive and eager to please. Her training reflects her intelligence and eagerness to learn new things and she thrives on consistent routines and positive reinforcement. One notable aside: Kahla would do best as an only pet and can become intensely aroused when she sees other dogs. She's been working with a trainer, however, and with a calm, structured approach and controlled introductions, she continues to improve. These puppies are still very young, so they will need families who understand that puppies require patience, consistency, training, socialization, and plenty of time. They are at the perfect age to begin learning good manners and building a strong foundation for the rest of their lives. The shelter believes they are lab/shepherd mix and will be medium to large size dogs.
