Story
Rocky German Shorthaired Pointer Mix 11 month old neutered male. Fully vetted ‼️needing foster ‼️ Rocky is a gentle, attentive boy who is curious about exploring the world around him. He would thrive with a patient, understanding adopter who can show him the way. Rocky gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He does well inside the house and is fully potty trained. He is generally quiet, though he may vocalize a bit in the morning to let you know he’s ready for the day. Rocky prefers the comfort of his crate, where he feels safe and content, and snoozing there is one of his favorite pastimes. Rocky has soft, expressive eyes that reflect his gentle and sensitive nature. Available for adoption www.totherescueinc.org

Story
Meet Kona, the 11 months old, 70lbs pony!!! My best guess is that she is a Great Dane/GSP mix. Her size, structure, drinking, slobbering and passing wind behaviour equals that of a GD, her agility, brightness and spotty chest indicate GSP. But who knows? We do know though that she will be XL, as she still has half a year to grow into her ginormous paws . Kona's ears are floppy and do their own thing when she runs, zooms and jumps If you like active, young, large dogs, but want to add an already trained one to your family, Kona is your babe! - potty, crate, house trained - great in the car and off leash - loves, loves, loves kids, but due to her size & bounciness, I would recommend ages 8+ - adores other dogs, but would be ok as the only dog in a VERY ACTIVE HOUSEHOLD  - can be a little timid at first, but warms up quickly - wants & needs all the toys (bones, stuffies, squeakers, you name it) - highly treat/ food motivated  - super snuggly once settled Kona is the full package In foster care in Vienna, 22182 and ready to meet approved applicants! Kona is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She is affectionate & enjoys attention . Kona is an intelligent, high-energy dog who needs both physical activity and mental stimulation to thrive. She is not a couch-potato pup and will do best in a very active home—one that enjoys walks, playtime, training, enrichment, or has a large fenced yard where she can burn energy in healthy ways.  This sweet girl is looking for adopters who understand that smart dogs need engagement and consistency. With the right environment, structure, and commitment, Kona will make an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion. Adoption Day: February 14th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun!  ##2357322##

Story
We acquired Kola in the heart of the COVID pandemic in 2020. She captured our hearts with her energy, personality, and gentle yet protective nature. We purchased Kola from a family from North Carolina and she was born at the end of January. So, she is coming up her birthday soon. Her birthday is January 22nd. She will be 6 years old next week. We are looking for a new home for Kola because we recently had our son (15 months). Although she’s really good with the baby, we are unable to keep up with her daily needs (walking and playing). She gave our family some great years and we want to ensure we find a good home for her years to come. If you are passionate about animals and family oriented, please give her profile a look. Thank you!

Story
WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Stella – Professional Snuggler, Part-Time Blanket Thief 🤍🐾 10 years young • 50 lbs • German Shorthair Pointer If you’re looking for a dog who believes personal space is optional and companionship is mandatory, allow us to introduce the one and only Stella. At 10 years old, Stella is proof that age is just a number. This gorgeous German Shorthair Pointer still has pep in her step, joy in her heart, and enough enthusiasm to power a small village. She’s the perfect medium-sized best friend — big enough for adventures, small enough to fit nicely on your couch (or directly on top of you). Stella’s life motto is simple: “Wherever you go, I go.” Need a walking buddy? She’s ready. Going for a car ride? Shotgun is her seat. Just trying to sit on the couch? Perfect — she’ll be there in 0.3 seconds. She is what we lovingly call a Grade-A Velcro Dog. If loyalty were an Olympic sport, Stella would have a gold medal, a parade, and her face on a cereal box. Her adorable highlights: • House trained (no indoor oopsies!) • Crate trained like a champ • Walks nicely on a leash • Wonderful with other dogs • Loves every human she’s ever met • Expert-level cuddler • Olympic gold medalist in burrowing under blankets Speaking of blankets… Stella takes her snuggle game VERY seriously. She doesn’t just sleep under covers — she disappears into them like a cozy little pointer burrito. If you’ve ever wanted a dog-shaped heating pad for your feet, congratulations, she’s your girl. Being a classic GSP, Stella does have a natural prey drive, so she’s not a match for homes with cats. She can also have a touch of anxiety, which really just means she thrives with someone who’s home often and enjoys having a devoted shadow. (Good luck going to the bathroom alone ever again.) Stella was surrendered through no fault of her own when her previous family didn’t have the time she deserves. Now she’s ready for a fresh start — with people who will love her, include her, and appreciate just how special she is. What she’s dreaming of: • A home where she can be part of the daily routine • A comfy couch and plenty of blankets • Walks, love, and more love • A human who appreciates a dog that sticks to them like glue If you’re a fan of the GSP breed and want a sweet, affectionate, loyal best friend who will happily follow you to the ends of the earth (or at least to the fridge), Stella is ready to audition for the role. Fill out her adoption application and give her the second chance she deserves. She promises to repay you in kisses, cuddles, and lifetime loyalty. 💛🐾
