Story
Male, 7 years old, 45lbs Good with: Dogs, kids, cats (when properly introduced) House trained: Yes Energy level: Moderate Noise level: Some Hi there! I'm Frank, a seven-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer, and let me tell you, I'm a petite bundle of energy and joy, weighing around 45 lbs, which is a bit smaller than your typical male GSP. I'm proud to say that I'm an absolute angel – crate-trained and completely at ease in my cozy crate. I've got some impressive skills up my sleeve too! Although I had eight months of bird hunting training in my youth, I haven't pursued it lately. Instead, I excel in off-leash walks, responding promptly to commands like "heel" and "come" when my humans whistle or call. Sitting, lying down, and heading to bed are second nature to me, making me a joy to have around. Now, about my diet – I started off a bit overweight, but my humans put me on a fantastic raw diet. Picture this: one cup of raw carrot, broccoli, cauliflower, a raw egg, and a cup of raw meat for breakfast; then, one cup of raw veggies, a tin of raw sardines, and another cup of raw meat for dinner. It's been a game-changer! I lick my bowl clean for about an hour after each meal – I just can't get enough! Besides my love for food, I'm a social butterfly. I adore playing with other dogs, especially my three-year-old Vizsla buddy. While I might take a moment to warm up to intact male dogs, I've got a knack for making friends once we get acquainted. Oh, and I'm cool with cats and other animals too – just need a proper introduction. Now, here's a little secret: I'm not a fan of loud noises, like that pesky vacuum. But don't worry, I'm a gentleman about it. I'll calmly retreat to a different room and hang out until the noise is over – no biggie! In a nutshell, I'm not just a hunter; I'm a well-trained, food-loving, and friendly companion ready to bring joy and love to a forever home. If you're up for walks, playtime, and maybe a little cuddle on the couch, I'm your guy! I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can share all the love I’ve got to give! My foster guardian says: “ HE IS AN ANGEL!” Likes: Chasing birds, treats and food Dislikes : Loud noises, such as a vacuum My ideal home: “ Frank would love a family that doesn't care about his shedding and wants to explore with him! He loves to rub up on you and act like a lap dog! He loves a good warm spot to nap in the sunshine!” Adoption Application : http://bit.ly/adoptrdr Foster Application :  https://rdr.formstack.com/forms/foster_app     My adoption fee includes: Spay/Neuter Surgery (unless I'm too to young!) Overall wellness exam Current on all core vaccines (including DHPP & rabies) Microchip Current on flea & tick and heartworm preventatives   Interested in adopting a rescue dog? Story
Luna is a 7 year old German Shorthaired Pointer mix. She was adopted when she was a puppy and has been with the same owner since. She is crate trained and house trained. Unfortunately, she is not great with children and with a growing family has not adapted to our lifestyle. She is very anxious in cars and rides in a crate. That aside, she is so loving and just needs the right situation and family to love. Luna is very food motivated so if you have the time, can be easily trained. She will love you loyally if you give her the chance.

Story
Charlotte is a sweet girl, it would be wonderful to hear that she's not only physically healthy but also emotionally thriving in her loving family. Her intelligence and sociable nature make her a great companion for both other dogs and children. Finding an active home that loves big dogs sounds like the perfect fit for Charlotte. Big dogs often require more exercise and mental stimulation, so an active household would provide her with the engagement and playtime she needs to stay happy and fulfilled. Looking for that home here!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
