This adorable little gal came to us all the way from Georgia along with her sister, Baby Mollie. Baby Mindy is your typical puppy, very friendly, outgoing, and playful. She loves all dogs, big and small. She is also very affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled. At her young age, Baby Mindy is in her prime for training and socialization, and she will make a wonderful companion for years to come. Please remember that young puppies require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. Submit an application today and change this sweet girl's life forever! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/. Story
Viral is a sweet, wiggly, and cuddly puppy! She LOVES people and other dogs and enjoys saying hi to anyone she meets. She will run around and play hard before cuddling up in your lap for a nap. She would do best in an active home where she can get lots of exercise for all of that puppy energy. She is doing well with potty and crate training -- very few accidents and she will sleep soundly in her crate for hours. She loves to explore and has a lot of enthusiasm and would do best with someone who is patient and can provide some training. She is great with the two resident kids and gets along great with our dog. They have had lots of fun playing chase and tug with each other. She enjoys being held/carried and you won't be able to resist her puppy kisses! Are you ready to meet me? Visit https://www.wtarescue.com/adoption-process-2 to request a meet and greet and to learn more about the adoption process! Mandatory in-person transfer date: July 27th at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner between 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. All adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption. ##2072155##

Story
This is Cooper. He and his sweet Sister, Katie have been tossed around from rescue to rescue and living in kennels for over a year! First springer rescue got them and left them in a kennel for months before deciding they weren't springers and then someone else stepped up but they stayed in a kennel again. We have had them now and are working with them. They are so sweet and happy! Cooper walks well on a leash and is pretty close to house trained. He is neutered, UTD on all vaccines and is HW neg. We are so desperate to find these babies a loving home to live out their lives in that we are cutting the adoption fee in half but they must stay together. Please consider them! You will not regret it. Please email omlc7@hotmail.com and we will send our info and application. They are used to being outside so a fenced yard is a requirement.

This is Katie. She and her brother, Cooper have been tossed around from rescue to rescue and living in kennels for over a year! Story
Meet Delilah, affectionately known as Diva or D, a high-energy hound with an extraordinary nose and a zest for life. This spirited girl thrives on activity and loves to play, whether it's with her favorite toys-she has a knack for turning even the toughest ones into confetti-or engaging in a fun game of fetch. Delilah has mastered the basics, knowing how to sit, lay down, and come on command. Her enthusiasm for life makes her a joy to be around, and she has a great track record living with older kids who can match her lively spirit. However, her jumpy nature means she would do best in a home without very young children. Due to her strong, hound prey drive, a cat-free home is essential, and she will benefit from continued training to improve her leash manners. Delilah is comfortable in her crate, making her a well-rounded companion ready for her forever home. With her love for play and her affectionate nature, Delilah is sure to bring joy and excitement to any household.

READY to take the plunge with my FUREVER family!! I am super smart and need an active family. When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! LOcal adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)
