I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. Arthur needs a home that has plenty of space and someone that can give him plenty of attention. He needs lots of exercise and an experienced GSP owner. He did okay with my son’s Yorkie but he does have a high prey drive. He’s super athletic and can easily topple an adult and child when he’s playing. He loves toys and playing fetch. No small pets, Arthur is a hunter and loves to do so. He super protective of his family and will be very cautious around strangers. He wants to be around his family at all times and can be very vocal if not allowed to do so. He’s a very sweet boy and I love him so much, but I’m currently working many hours to be home enough to spend time with him and it’s effecting him greatly. He needs a large home with space. Hank is a super sweet and goofy boy. He was found as a stray in the country, just trying to survive on his own. People were very mean to him when he would come around looking for food. Because of this, he is very shy/nervous in new places and around new people, but non aggressive. Once you win him over, he will give you his entire heart. He is extremely loving and affectionate, quite the big baby. Hank is loyal, and goofy. He loves to play and loves adventure. His smile as is big as Texas and his little under bite is one of the cutest things you'll see! He would do best in a low traffic home. He has been fostered with a small (very dog experienced) child and is great, but he is a bit hyper and clumsy at times and can accidentally knock a small child down, (he's 80lbs), so he would do best with older children. He would thrive in a home with another dog to play with in a big back yard, but does require slow introductions as he is wary of new dogs at first. He is rambunctious with his dog friends and needs a friend that tolerate his ruff house play! He has been with other dogs ranging from 15-65lbs. Hank does well with non confrontational cats! Hank has a (back) foot deformity. We do not know if it was a birth defect or if something happened to him, but he only has one toe on his back foot, which contributes some to his clumsiness. He has been on glucosamine and joint supplements his entire time in rescue and it is recommended he stays on them his entire life to prevent early arthritis because of his foot.
