Here are some highlights about Leonardo: Playful and Snuggly: Leonardo’s zest for life is contagious! He enjoys playing, chasing after tennis balls, and curling up on the couch for cuddle sessions. Basic Commands: Leonardo is a smart cookie! He already knows essential commands like “sit,” “stay,” and “down.” With a little extra training, he’ll be a well-mannered superstar. Best as an Only Dog: While Leonardo has experience living with another dog, he thrives when he’s the center of attention. His enthusiasm sometimes leads to playful jumps and mouthing, so a home where he’s the sole canine would be ideal. Kid-Friendly: Leonardo has interacted with kids aged 9 to 15 and aced the test! He’s been gentle and allowed them to pet him all over without any issues. Anxiety Management: Leonardo takes a small daily dose of fluoxetine to manage his anxiety. Rescued dogs are given a complete veterinary exam and their vaccines are updated; they are also micro-chipped, spayed or neutered, and tested for valley fever and heartworm. AGR provides emotional and medical rehabilitation and will pay for medications and for necessary surgeries.
