Story
Meet Cedar, an adult (approx. 2 years old) spayed female Golden Retriever!  Cedar is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 6/27. We are accepting applications on her now! She will be required to attend our adoption event in Dayville, CT on 7/12. Cedar is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2752510##

Story
Muffin - The Velcro Puppy's Story Muffin is a 2-month-old, 6-pound bundle of love who has already overcome so much in her short little life. She and her siblings were abandoned on a busy beach filled with feral dogs, where they survived by hiding under rocks for nearly two weeks before finally being rescued.

Despite everything she’s been through, Muffin is unbelievably loving, gentle, and affectionate. She absolutely melts for belly scratches, cuddles close whenever she can, and seems so grateful to finally feel safe and cared for. She has the sweetest soul and is quickly learning what it means to be loved.

Muffin is looking for a family ready to give her the happy, secure life she has always deserved. In return, she’ll give endless snuggles, puppy kisses, and unconditional love.

He is fully house trained and crate trained. He’s about a year old and weighs 55-60 pounds. He may fill out some more but he’s mostly done growing. He has long legs and a slim build. He loves other dogs and does well with cats. Great with kids! He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Story
Meet our adorable herb garden litter! We are happy, playful puppies who got a second chance thanks to a kind Samaritan who found our mama living under a tree, where she had dug a little hole to keep us safe. That’s how we got our gardening herb names! Our foster mama says we are sweet, high-energy love bugs who are always ready for fun and cuddles. We love everyone — kids, other dogs, toys, and playtime are totally our jam! Our mama appears to be a Lab mix, but since we all look a little different, we’re not exactly sure what breeds make up our adorable crew. One thing we do know for sure: we are super cute and ready to find loving forever homes of our own! Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Sweet Storm is just at a year old and ready for a home to call his very own! This handsome fellow is 55 lbs of love and joy. He enjoys playing with other doggy friends and LOVES to meet new human friends. He walks nicely on leash, enjoys a car ride and would be good citizen at the dog park. If you're ready to add a snuggly love to your holiday festivities, Storm would be happy to take the role. Apply to adopt today at www.cprdogs.com. Storm is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.
