Story
We are heartbroken but have made the difficult decision to rehome our beloved dog due to a family member’s asthma that’s worsening despite our efforts. This is not a choice we’re making lightly—he has been a perfect, cherished part of our family. About him: • Fully up to date on all vaccines and vet care • Excellent with children – gentle, patient, and playful • Very well-behaved: house-trained, good manners, no destructive habits • Happy, affectionate, and always eager to be with his people • Gets along great in a family environment and loves attention We are looking for a responsible, loving family who can provide him with the unconditional love, care, and stability he deserves. He thrives in a home where he can be part of daily life and receive plenty of affection. We will take this process slowly and carefully to ensure the best match: Serious enquirers, no resellers/ flippers or breeders • Thorough background checks and reference calls.

Story
Polly is a sweet 4-year-old Golden Retriever weighing about 57 pounds. She’s a little on the thin side and would benefit from gaining a few pounds. She also has a wound on her leg that she came to us with that is healing. Before her rescue, Polly was kept for breeding, which has left her a bit insecure and shy when first meeting new people. With patience and kindness, her gentle personality truly blossoms. She’s adjusting beautifully to life as an inside dog, and she absolutely loves it! Cozy naps, soft beds, and being close to her people are quickly becoming her favorite things. Though Polly enjoys playing with her dog friends, she doesn't like to share with them. Because of this, we have determined that she needs to be an only dog in her forever home. She likely didn't get much one on one attention previously, so she wants it all to herself. This girl is very affectionate and snuggly once she feels safe. She loves to be by your side and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. Polly is crate-trained and currently working on house-training. She’s not yet comfortable walking on a leash, so a secure, fenced yard is rREQUIRED for her to safely potty and explore. Polly is a gentle soul looking for a calm, loving home withOUT a canine companion to help her continue building confidence. With time, reassurance, and love, she will make an incredibly loyal and devoted best friend. To adopt her, please apply on www.orphanannierescue.org Her adoption fee is $600, which includes her shots up-to-date, microchipping, spay, heartworm testing, and dental cleaning.

Story
Blayze is a very hyper dog. He loves running. He is a golden retriever mixed with german shepherd as far as I know. He hasn’t been to the vet recently to get his yearly shots, but that is only because I don't have a car or enough money to pay for his shots. I taught him on my own, he learns very easily and usually listens. He has become a little anxious and jumpy, I believe it is because I don’t have enough space for him to roam around, and as time passed I have become more busy, so I haven’t been able to spend as much time with him as I should. He has almost been attacked by a dog once, but I stopped it just in time, so he is scared of other dogs if they get too close or move too fast. He has bit me once because he got off of his leash and I had to catch him. He has also bit someone because they bothered him and he was overwhelmed and anxious. He knows the commands sit, down, stay, go, come here, and paw. He has not been fully leash trained, but he is potty trained. He is very sweet.
