Angel is a 5.5-year-old, 72-lb Golden Retriever who lives up to her name in the sweetest way. This girl loves attention and would be perfectly content if her day consisted entirely of being pet, adored, and told what a good dog she is. She’s doing well with house-training and is easygoing about where she sleeps - whether it’s the floor or a cozy dog bed. That said, Angel has recently discovered the magic of the couch, and let’s just say… she’s a big fan. Expect some serious snuggle sessions. Angel does well with other dogs, making her a great candidate for a multi-dog home. Her experience with cats is unknown. With new people, she can be a bit shy at first and may bark when visitors arrive, but with patience and reassurance, she warms up and shows her gentle, affectionate nature. She walks nicely on a leash, though she hasn’t quite figured out how to potty while on one yet. Because of this, a fenced-in yard would be ideal unless her future family is ready to fully commit to helping her learn and build confidence with leash pottying. Angel would thrive in a home that offers love, patience, and lots of affection...and maybe a spot on the couch.
