Hi! I'm Atlantis I've been in foster care about three weeks now and foster mom thought I should provide some updates: 1. I LOVE other dogs and playing with them in the backyard is so much fun. My ideal home would have another dog and a yard. 2. There is one dog in my foster home who is not very playful and I'm very respectful and leave him alone. 3. New People are scary and I ignore them at first but eventually I warm up to them. I have even started cuddling with foster mom! 4. I'm working hard to be house broken and do very well on a schedule. 5. This is my first time living inside so I'm still learning what is considered a toy and what objects are foster mom's beloved possessions such as her couch cushions . I correct easily when she reminds me these are not toys. I am crated when foster mom isn't home to keep me safe. I go into my crate when asked and keep it clean. 6. Leashes make me pretty nervous but I'm learning whenever foster mom puts me on one we go somewhere fun! 7. There are some cats here and sometimes I ignore them and sometimes I bark at them but I never chase them. 8. Lastly, and most importantly, I love salami!!! It's my absolute favorite. HARMONY is a scrumptious scruffy pup looking for her furever home. Harmony is one of the pups in the "H" litter, along with siblings Harley and Helena. Harmony and her siblings were surrendered to a rural shelter. We're told the parents are a Goldendoodle and a Beagle, a wonderful combination of breeds! The pups are absolutely adorable. Harmony is about 15 weeks old and currently 22 pounds. We expect that Harmony will be 45-50 pounds when fully grown. She's long-legged and sturdy with a delightful disposition. Harmony is the perfect blend of fun and loving. She adores people and attention and cuddles and also loves to run and romp with her siblings. Harmony is best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard and another playful dog. If you'd like to meet Harmony, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Harmony and her siblings at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. The Helena and her siblings will go to prospective homes for a trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. Their adoptions will be finalized after their vetting is complete. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Handsome HARLEY is a gorgeous mixed breed puppy looking for his furever home. Harley is one of the H litter puppies, along with sisters Harmony and Helena. They were surrendered to a rural shelter, we were told the parents are a goldendoodle and a beagle. Harley has lovely golden highlights. He's about 15 weeks old and currently 21 pounds. We expect he will be a 40-50 pound dog when fully grown. Harley loves people, his happy place is close to his humans. He is fun and silly but a bit timid in new situations.
