Story
Hudson is an approximately 11 month old Goldendoodle mix (our best guess is Golden Retriever and Poodle, but we cannot guarantee breed since we do not know his parents). One thing we can guarantee is that this boy is full of fun, energy, and happiness. If fetch were a profession, Hudson would already be employee of the month. Throw the toy once and he is ready for round two immediately. The best part? He happily brings it right back and is always ready to keep the game going. He is playful, goofy, and absolutely loves being part of the action. Hudson is crate trained, great with other dogs, and does well with kids. Because he is still young, energetic, and on the larger side, we would recommend caution around very small children since his happy wiggles and excitement could accidentally knock them over. He is truly as sweet as can be and loves greeting everyone he meets with his whole-body wiggle. Hudson would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, playtime, and having a fun-loving companion by their side. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. Now he is ready to find a forever family to keep up with all his adventures. Local adoption fee (Texas): $350 Out-of-state adoption fee: $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Truffles -“The Ears Have It!” Few critters in the animal kingdom have ears that can move separately, up/down, folded, or crisscrossed. The magnificent Truffles is one of the few! This gorgeous, friendly, athletic gal is endowed with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, one or both of her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. Truffles was born with a genetic condition called mega esophagus that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She sits in her chair for 15 -20 minutes after eating. She cannot have treats. And that is it! You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she is sleeping, due to the enlarged esophagus, but that is nothing to worry about. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. More Attributes! Leash trained Loves kids, but likely too boisterous for little ones Needs extra care at meal time Local adoption fee is$200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Looking for a dog to add to your family? Meet Denver! ❤️🐾🐶 We've been fostering him for 2 weeks and he is the sweetest and most gentle boy. He is around 8 years old. While he doesn't have that crazy puppy energy anymore, he still loves to gallop in the grass, carrying his toys or sticks around and he zooms around like a champ. My favorite thing about him is how he carries around a toy in his mouth all over the house and his yard.🧸 The shelter found him in an abandoned car. He is very loving, calm, and gentle with people. He knows sit, paw, laydown, and a partial roll over. He is potty and crate trained. He has not yet been around other dogs or kids since we've had him. Please reach out to me if you or anyone you know is interested in meeting him! Text Christina at 513-739-1363 Video at https://www.facebook.com/share/r/18ZDBQnPFj/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Story
Meet Sophie! Sophie is a 6 year old, 60 pound, standard goldendoodle who loves being close to her people and lounging around. Her superpowers include working on house training and doing really well, she isn't there yet, but she has only had a few accidents since being in her foster home. Sophie is highly motivated by food which is super helpful in training. She was scared of steps for the first week but has now mastered them with the help of some treats! She walks well on a leash and doesn't pull and she doesn't jump. Some of her favorite things are her stuffies that she collects and takes into her crate like her babies and chewing on bones. She loves to lay anywhere she can get sun whether it is inside or outside and she spent the entire day at a baseball field and was the perfect girl, no barking! If you're looking for the sweetest girl who has mastered the side eye, Sophie might be the perfect match for your family. Sophie is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Haven! Haven is a 5.5-year-old, 30 lb Mini Goldendoodle who was rescued from an Amish puppy mill and is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be outside of making puppies. These days, she’s learning that soft beds, lazy afternoons, and endless love are what she truly deserves. This sweet girl is a total velcro dog and loves sticking close to her foster mom. She’s currently working on crate training and has been an absolute star with house manners — not a single accident since arriving in foster care! Haven is still a bit skittish and is happiest when she’s close to her human or one of her dog buddies. Because of this, she would truly thrive in a forever home with another confident dog who can help show her the ropes and continue building her confidence. One thing Haven is still practicing? Keeping all four paws on the floor when she gets excited to see her people or wants extra love and attention. Haven gets along with every dog in her foster home, no matter their size or age. She’s also good with both men and women. She hasn’t been tested with cats or children yet. Haven is soaking up the good life one day at a time, and she’s ready to find a forever family who will continue helping her blossom into the happy, loved dog she was always meant to be. Haven is fostered in the Cincinnati area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
