A litter of 8 puppies and their Mom were living in neglectful conditions. The owner agreed to surrender the dogs to animal control. Mom, Honolulu, was said to be a mix of Golden Retriever, Hound, & Shepherd. Dad was also said to be a Golden mix too. The puppies were taken to the vet to be checked and all are happy & playful. They get along with people, other dogs and cats as well. Tallahassee is about 3-4 months old and 15 pounds. Please help Tallahassee find the loving home she deserves. Honolulu's litter of 8 - Albany, Boise, Juneau, Madison, Phoenix, Raleigh, Tallahassee, & Charleston (only boy) ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals lives and restore them back to health.
