Sarge was rescued from Windsor, South Carolina where he had been severely neglected and forced to live outdoors his entire life. It was evident that he had never experienced the love and care he deserved. Not to mention, upon rescue, it was noticed that Sarge's vision was severely impaired. Thanks to the intervention of Home for Good Dog Rescue (HFGDR), Sarge received the necessary medical attention, including consultations with ocular specialists, revealing that he suffered from juvenile cataracts. With the support of HFGDR, Sarge underwent successful cataract surgery, and his recovery has been remarkable. His vision has been almost fully restored, transforming his life in incredible ways. Despite his challenging beginnings, Sarge exudes gratitude for the second chance he's been given. Initially shy around new people due to his past experiences, Sarge warms up quickly with a little patience and kindness. He is exceptionally gentle and sweet, with a stunning fluffy coat and adorable smile that adds to his irresistible charm. Sarge possesses a calm and easy-going demeanor, making him a wonderful companion for households with other dogs, cats, or older children. Felicity is a 5 year old, 29 pound Mini Golden Doodle. Felicity has the absolute sweetest disposition. After being rescued from a puppy mill, she is slowly but surely warming up to life with a family. She gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, and she is learning to love her humans! She has been making incredible progress with leash and crate training and is fully house trained! If you have a quiet household and a lot of love to give, Felicity will be the perfect family member. Felicity is being fostered in Bayville, NJ. Her adoption fee is $500. River was born in August 2019 in San Diego, California. Since then, every day I've been caring for him meticulously. At the age of five months, he attended Inception K9 Academy, where he completed commands such as "stay with," "recall," "go to your place," etc. He's a lively, cheerful, and very well-behaved golden retriever, with moderate energy levels. He's very obedient at home, doesn't require a lot of exercise, and doesn't have any behavioral issues. In 2022, River and I moved to New York together. He has experienced international travel and also traveled with me from California all the way to New York by car. Due to work and family reasons, I am unable to continue caring for him. I have extensive experience in dog care and training, and I will assist you in transferring his skills to his new owner.

When resting she almost always is found curled up spooning her toys or a human limb. She loves to play chase and is pretty decent at playing catch. She would THRIVE in a home with another dog. She gets a little mouthy when she is excited so she may be better suited to a family with older kids. My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats), Dogs yes, Adult Kids maybe, cats unknown but probably good. My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed); Yes, Yes, Maybe. 3 Keywords for your pup: Patient, Playful, Social. Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 7 Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Quiet (but she will whimper on occasion), She also does a cute moan/purr when she gets a good cuddle. She snores in a dainty way for a dog. Walking Manners: She is decent on the leash, she pulls a bit but is responsive to redirecting. She is getting used to the city after being born and raised down south.  She gets a little excited and distracted by pigeons and sparrows but responds quickly to redirecting.  Appetite: Good and strong! Food motivated (watch out on the street, she will go for whatever is on the ground). Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above); tolerates the bath but dislikes it, has some slight separation anxiety. Enjoys the car.Favorite Things: Dogs, Cuddles, Stuffed Animals.Commands/Tricks: Sits and waits. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract.
