Lucky is lucky to be alive. Rescued by OHAR several years ago, Lucky had been adopted by his foster dad and lived a happy life. Sadly, Lucky's dad fell ill and could no longer care for him. Lucky is safe in the care of OHAR once again but is really missing having a real home. Lucky enjoys spending time outside, relaxing in the shade and watching the world go by. He also loves going for car rides. His previous owner owned a truck and Lucky's eyes still light up whenever a truck goes by. Sadly, when Lucky's dad became ill, he could no longer take him for rides. We can tell Lucky misses being part of a family; snuggling in bed, BBQ's in the backyard, rides to Petsmart to pick out treats. Cool as a cucumber, not much phases Lucky. Whether is playing dress up, interacting with strangers or meeting new dogs, Lucky is always chill. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained and house trained. Oh Hilton! You're a big boy, tall and lanky and learning so much. He's smart and VERY playful. Will go in his crate to eat w/out complaining but not a fan of staying overnight. He's great w/ other dogs, still learning to 'chill' because he's all puppy! He is a 7-month-old retriever mix who sits, lays down, shakes his foster's hand and can heel. He smiles when he wants a treat and snaps his teeth with excitement. He is a very funny dog with tons of personality. He was just a little guy at 5 pounds when rescued; he was emaciated, flea infected, hot, hurt and crying. Local homeowner heard the cries and found poor Hilton covered in puncture wounds, rips and drainage. Charlie wants you to know even with his black fur and scars from puppy strangles, he is handsome, sweet, loving, smart and has all the same love and personality as the fluffy one over there! Charlie loves meeting new people; not around kiddos much. He is practicing his manners and learning his commands. He is eager to learn, well behaved and friendly boy. That would love his own backyard. Or if you're in an apartment with a doggie area to visit often. Cool. Because he is ready willing and able. Charlie is an adorable 9-month-old lab mix currently at 30lbs and growing. We think he will be petite in size. He came to us with a bad case of puppy strangles but is all healed up. He has a little scaring on his face but his beautiful shiny black fur covers some of that up. He is fully potty trained and uses a doggy door. He knows the command sit and we are working on more. He loves taking walks and exploring the outdoors. He gets along well with foster's 2 older dogs and loves to play both with dogs and humans. He has not been around young children but has a sweet demeanor. Charlie is king of the backyard sunshine! He loves to play but is a very chill, loving puppy. Draco lit up and was a happy go lucky guy once we took off his leash and let him run and play with Hawk. His confidence to come up to me (a complete stranger) for affection blossomed and he exuded pure joy. Draco is looking for his furever home, a large yard and a buddy would be a plus. When you meet him, give him some time. He is a treasure waiting to be found. And just look how handsome Draco he is. He loves going outside. He is potty trained, quiet, walks on leash, and is just all around perfect. And look at those socks. He really does have such striking coloring and eyes to match! He is a more chill puppy. He has learned sit, outside, potty, treat, crate He sleeps in his crate at night and even goes in on his own when he is ready for a nap. He rarely barks. He is learning how to play ball and especially likes the ones that drops crunchies as it rolls. Draco is affectionate and loves his belly rubs. Draco was one of four gorgeous puppies needing out of small remote shelter that was flooding due to heavy rains.
